  • Absolutely!!! What part of Maine are you going to? Let me know the dates as soon as you can.
We have been looking for a chef for our restaurant at the Sporting Camps but did not find one so Alan & I are doing the cooking --- RAVE reviews so far. But without a chef, this also means that I will be up here cookig for the September bear hunt and the 2 week Moose hunt in Sept and October. If the dates of yourvisit conflict, I will need to get coverage. So let me know as soon as you know.

What is your reason for coming? I'll check out the peak foliage areas for you if you want once I know your dates.

Have a GREAT day with God,

    Blessings, Gloria
  • Hey Susan. God bless you.

I was hoping somebody would read my blogs and get something out of it. I'm not really interested in my own notoriety (my nature is to keep to myself), or to make money using the gift God gave me to freely give to others, but I was expecting that God wasn't wasting his time teaching me things that would never be taught to others also. You're right. It would take a book to go into just that one subject, but there are so many things, that I almost don't know where to begin. So, I decided to start here on this forum. The stuff I have to share is in the category of meat that "Way Corps" type people can take in and study the rest to see it for themselves or debate.

But since you responded, I'll share some more. The manifestation is divided into categories as such in I Corinthians 12. To profit you - word of wisdom, and to another profit of the same kind (allos) word of knowledge. These revelation aspects can bless others eventually, but they are primarily to bless you as an individual with "info" and "how to." To profit others - to another profit of a different kind (heteros) is given faith, and to another profit of the same kind (allos) gifts of healings, and to another profit of the same kind (allos) the working of miracles, and to another profit of the same kind (allos) prophecy, and to another profit of the same kind (allos) discerning of spirits. Thus, when you heal someone, work a miracle (a work of power) like casting out a demon, have faith that results in God's powerful hand being shown to His people, prophesy to build up believers, or discern spirits to the end that God's people are put on alert, others are blessed primarily. Of course, you are blessed too, but God directs the blessing through you to others. (Is this really so difficult?) To profit God - to another profit of a different kind (heteros) kinds of tongues, and to another profit of the same kind (allos) the interpretation of tongues. Tongues and their interpretation (which is just another way of saying the same thing that was said in a tongue) are primarily designed to bless God. Sure we are edified to speak in tongues and interpret, but these are primarily designed to praise and worship God. They are directed toward God. As the Scripture says, we speak not to men, but to God when we speak in tongues and also interpret. God seeks such to worship Him. Wouldn't it be great if believers realized that the focus of their prayer in the spirit was God and not themselves like the chanting of pagans! - Gary
  • Hi Susan,
I guess I need to add more info to my page. I'll work on pictures too. You look great.

  • Hi Susan!
Thank-you for your note. Yes, I do have red hair, just a lot less these days. Love to you and your family.

  • Hey Susan. Steve Jesseph, Donna Zander Catalano and I recorded a tape at IHQ thanks to Mark Gluckin in 1982 I think. Mark had the recording's original tape. Maybe his wife has it now or maybe it's still somewhere at IHQ. Steve, Donna and I have original cuts on cassette. My branch in Monterey made multiple copies off of my copy that are floating around the country and maybe the world because so many of the believers from here were in the military. If I could make you a decent copy, I'd send you one. I'm afraid if I made copies off of my copy I might destroy the only one I've got since it's over a quarter of a century old now! Thanks for contacting me. God bless you. - Gary
  • Greetings Susan! You look great, you've not changed much from our time in the Corps together. It was good to see you here this forum..
    God Bless you and yours.
    Love,
    Joe
  • Hi Susan. I remember your name and face and I know we made contact at one of those training locations. I don't know how to do all the fancy stuff to dress up my page yet, but I'll keep bugging my wife to help figure it out. When I have time I'll fill out my profile better instead of being a jokester! You may remember that I played guitar and sang with Steve Jesseph at many functions. I was on staff at IHQ my interim year. I was sent to CA upon graduation in 1983 and haven't escaped yet! - Gary

  • Hi Susan,
My brother Gerry lives in Galway at 21 Glenview Drive, Riverside, Galway, Ireland. Tel: 0035391751991
  • Hi Susan,

I very rarely see Gerry Byrne these days. His sister Margaret, was married to my brother, Michael, who passed away last June.
I believe Margaret is on this site as I saw her name already. I'm sure she has contact details for him.
BTW, I thought The Full Monty was the biggest load of crap ever...Sorry

    God bless, Paddy
