About Me
I was in the Family Corps V and loved it, but I and my then husband, Dale Stittgen, left the Ministry in 1989. Would love to talk to some people from the Way Corps that I have known. This site is a wonderful idea. I have five children, Charlotte who graduated Mini Corps with us and is now 37, Carolyn who is 25, Kathryn-23, Jacqueline-12, and Kyley who is aged 9. I keep busy working full time with cleaning, as I did in the Way Corps also, running the Housekeeping Department there for two years. Now I clean for the Flying J Travel Plaza and it is very strenuous work as I am now 55 years old. My youngest daughter lives with me and we keep busy with activites. My 12 year old lives with my ex sister in law, and was raised by her. I would love to hear from my Corps buddies, I knew all the Way Corps from the Fourth Corps up to the 8th Corps. Hope you will recognize me and write sometime.
My Interests
I love oil painting, landscapes, and impressionistic art. I also love photography.
Books I Like
Gene Stratton Porter books
Sports Teams I like
the Carolina Panthers, as I live 20 minutes from Charlotte, N.C.

Love to you and GOd bless..Keep in touch. Vickie
Thanks for the kind words, and forgive me for taking so long to get back. If you do talk to Dale, let him know there is a sixth corps site, dedicated to our 30th reunion we will be having next July. 6thcorpsreunion.com. We actually set up our Ning site, and then this big Corps site grew out of it. Wonderful blessing.
I am back on the farm I grew up on here in Kansas, and work for Allstate in Wichita. One of these days, I'll put our personal info on this site. I have spent most of my time on the 6th Corps Ning site.
So good to know you are doing well. Much love and blessings to you Susan.

yes I was a vacuum, a full one, it was me and Steve pushing me on the dolly, we were TRYING to teach people to not just punch the bag down, but to change it....
I did some silly things then,
the funniest skit I remember was during the adv class, there were 3 doors, and a woman behind each one,,,,the guy was walking by the "spirit" and got to choose, well I had crooked braided hair, blacked out teeth, mis matched clothing,,, looked/acted dorky,,, behind the other door was lovely (God rest her soul)Chris Jewett looking sleek and beautiful, I forget who was the other door, I think Dorthy Setion....anyway the guy "walking by the spirit...." choose ME, I slobbered all over him and hugged him, of course the "doors" were seats up front in the lunchroom for all to see, the guy was getting interviewd w/his back to us,,,,having no idea...lol
was all quite funny, and fun,
good to see you
wish I would have visited you while I was in NC,,,lived pretty close, did talk to Dale once, but that was long ago,
anyway all is well w/my soul,
grandma of 2,,,,my oldest is 35, next 29, a girl 21 and my youngest son almost 20,
I am now in CA starting a new venture for my life, keep up w/me lady,
was always a joy working for your crew.
