Martha and I are living in Hendersonville NC. We've been back here about 12 years taking care of inevitable things with parents and relatives. All the kids are grown (Blair, Joe, and Hart) and out of the house. Blair is a police officer in the Raleigh area, Joe works with me in the construction business, and Hart is married to a wonderful man in Colorado. Have 3 grandchildren by Blair and one on the way by Hart and Paul. It's fun being a grandpa!!
Martha and I will be moving to Colorado soon. Getting ready for things I see coming down the road.
My first memory of you was hearing you sing 'He looked beyond my faults and saw my needs', at some function we were doing in NC in the early '70's. Also meeting you and Ellie Ray somewhere and you guys were driving that nice Ford Ranchero.
By the way, I still sing that song often....means a lot to me.
