About Me

Hope and John helped me immensely when I began to have lots of questions and doubts about TWI and things that were going on. There are not a few of you Way Corps here who also helped me. Many, many thanks for that! Many thanks, too, to John for the invite to your corner of cyberspace. I left TWI in 2004 after a little over 10 years of involvement. I have only been in the Orlando area, which is where I still live with one very spoiled border terrier.

My Interests

My interests change depending on the day and my mood. I dabble in quite a bit of things, but nothing seriously with the exception of training and competition with my dog.

Employment or Career

I'm a financial analyst for a privately owned manufacturing company. I love it! Mostly because I get to wear jeans and t-shirts to work. *grin*

Music I Like

It'd be easier to tell you what I don't like - that thumping bass rap crap. I most likely have at least one or two albums from just about every other genre out there from acoustic to zydeco. My current playlists contains Wilco, Michael Buble, Diana Krall, Joss Stone, Adele and Rammstein. I am a true redneck so Sundays are devoted to NASCAR and country music.

Books I Like

I listen to books on CD in the car during my commute, so I get through quite a few books that way and can't always remember them. I do like Cornwell, Woods, Demille, Evanovich, Grafton, Gabaldon .... Being from Mississippi originally, I'm a natural Grisham fan, too. Sarum and The Eight are probably two of my all time favorite books. The Harry Potter series would be right behind those. After leaving TWI I started reading anything I could my hands on related to the origins of Christianity, the Bible, religion, different belief systems and why people think the way they do: Releasing The Bonds: Empowering People To Think For Themselves The Subtle Power of Spiritual Abuse The Origin of Satan The Gnostic Gospels Why People Believe Weird Things:Pseudoscience, Superstition, and Other Confusions of Our Time The Four Agreements Many Lives Many Masters ..... too many to mention, really.....

Television I like

Survivor (been a fan since the first season) CSI Pushing Daisies Also a news junkie

Sports Teams I like

#20 - Tony Stewart (does he count as a team or should I say Joe Gibbs Racing - soon to be Stewart - Haas Racing?) Mississippi State University Orlando Predators I enjoy other sports, but not serious follower of any particular team.

Yes, they are growing fast. We will be in Orlando on Thursday to visit UCF. Chelsea in interested in forensics and they have a very good department. We will visit the George's afterwards. We haven't been to Orlando much lately. Let's get together sometime when we visit.
We will be gone from twi 7 years this August 1st. Time to celebrate.
