What a blessing to hear from you! Yes, I am here, and will most likely stay here for the duration. I'm living on the farm where I was raised just west of town, and have worked as a financial advisor for Allstate financial for the last 9 years. So the next time you are here, PLEASE come on by. It would be so good to see you and spend some time together.
We started a ning site for our Sixth Corps reunion this summer, and it spread to the whole Way Corps. So God is still working to bring people together.
Blessings to you old friend.

I lived in Oklahoma in the mid 70's , you lived in Bartlesville? ( what the hell is a Bartel) I attended a home church meeting in Lawton that you came and to . we discussed the 3 days and 3 nights of the death of Christ .....that changed my life ....
thanks for being there ..

It was so good to hear from you. Yes, we both have fond memories of great times while in residence in the Corps, but I firmly believe that "the best lines are yet to be sung." (So says the Poet). I wish I had known you were in Phoenix. I just returned from a two-week short-term missions experience in Los Cabos, Mexico, and we flew into Phoenix on both legs of our journey. There was a team of five people from our church, and we worked with a bi-lingual Christian school and another ministry in the area. It was a remarkable, life-changing experience. One of the members of our team is a high school Spanish teacher who is fluent in the language. I am somewhat competent and managed to put together a short teaching solely in Spanish, which has been a heart's desire for a number of years. So much has happened in the intervening years, but it is great to reconnect to a degree. This website is just a foretaste of eternity when we'll experience an occasion that far exceeds any of The Way Corps Weeks or Rock of Ages that we've ever been a part of. As the old folks used to say, "Time ain't as long as it used to be!" On that hopeful note I'll close.
Be blessed, my brother,
Lonnell
I entered the business world in 1979 a few years after you did. Yet I stayed in the ministry until 2000. Nice to have a change. long story. But I have fond memories I will always cherish.
