About Me

I have been married to Ray DePasquale for 29 years. My daughter Katherine is married with 2 beautiful boys. I have been living in Virginia for 20 years. Before that we were in Maine, which we still miss esp. in the summer. We are planning a trip up there next year. We have been fellowshipping here with some fantastic believers . I LOVE LOVE LOVE being a grandma or we say Nana. The only problem is Katherine and Michael, Cameron and Benjamin live in the Boston area. So I go up there every 6-8 weeks to get my Nana fix, or they come down here.

My Interests

I love to read and spend time with my family and friends. Those that know me know I love to party and have a good time.

Employment or Career

I have had several careers these past years. I had a sewing business called the "RED THREAD" for about 10 years, it helped put my daughter through college. I then did home care,not nursing but just kind of being a daughter to an elderly lady. Then we bought a hair salon. Where did that come from you say since I don't do hair. It was just a great opportunity to learn and yes to make money. We sold it but the new owner insisted I stay as manager and receptionest so that is where I am today. I only work 2 days a week which is plenty.

Don't get me started. There is alot that I like.

Just about anything except scarry and gross crap.

Hi Peggy,
It was so great to hear from you! I've thought about you and Katherine so many times over the years and wondered what's become of you. You look terrific! You look happy and settled. It was crazy looking at the pics of your daughter. She looks beautiful, and has such a good-looking family. I remember how she and I would smuggle candy bars into the room and hide them under my bed or on the window sill. We were so desperate for a bit of sugar! My bed in that room was a hospital bed, and we got a kick out of making it move up and down with the buttons. What grand entertainment for fourth and fifth grade girls! Do you remember when Claudette burned the annex down with her candle? Oh, I have lots of crazy memories. It was a good time. Say hello to Katherine for me. I'd love to hear from her.

Peggy, Wow, you look great! That's funny that you worked at Squeaky Bob's. Janet and I lived in a tiny house behind there. Janet worked there too. I used to fill in for her when she couldn't make it. Janet lives in AZ. By the way, Your family is beautiful! I loved the pictures! Somehow , the message you left me is gone. I don't know what happened to it . If I forget something, sorry. I'm just so thankful for this site! I know there's a lot of incredible people out there and we just haven't been able to find each other. Rom.8:28! Love Ya, Donna

Nice to hear from you! I was actually on the phone the other night going through this website with her to see if she recognized anyone. She's still in the crawl stages when it comes to computers but I'm trying to get her there.

Dear Peggy, Hello to you!! Of course I remember you...what a blessing to see your face and to hear that you and Ray are still together, and of course, that you are a grandma (Nana)....My youngest daughter, Amanda, is going to help me to get some pictures on this site....Amy is 3l and is married (6years now) She and her husband don't have any babies yet, but they are working on it! She has has some series surgeries over the last seven years, but by God's mercy and grace, she is well and healed now!! Jessica (who was the one who fell asleep at lunch in Rome City) is 29....she just graduated from the Univ. of Wash., and it teaching at a private Christian Academy nearby...Amy and Phil live in San Francisco now (they did live in San Diego but just moved) My youngest, Amanda, is 23 and is at home with us right now...John and I have been married for 35 years, and are growing older together as gracefully as possible!! Peggy, you can be sure...I will never forget you. You were a brave woman to take us mountain folk on. Despite our wildness, you kept loving us, teaching us about God and not boxing us in. You were a huge part of my growth with God! But can it really be possible that you're a grandmother!
