About Me
Well, let's see... I'm just happy to be here. God has continued to bless me and my family over the years. I'm still married to the girl of my dreams after 32 years (and some of you didn't think those Corps weddings would stick. Ha!) Still kind of difficult to explain today how we got married in Kansas (of all places) with 30 something other couples. Got to have a sense of humor, don't we?
Laura and I have two grown daughters. Rachel and her husband went through medical school together, and she is now in San Antonio in a private pediatrician practice. Her husband (Air Force) is doing a fellowship in pulminary medicine. Caroline from Clemson in Landscape Architecture and is working with Laura in her interior design businesss.
My Interests
Boating, fishing, scuba diving. Anything to do with the water and sunshine. Also excited about a preacher from Singapore named Joseph Prince who teaches about Grace like I've never heard it before.
Employment or Career
Real Estate
Music I Like
I guess my favorite would be James Taylor. Those who knew me in the Corps would say, "Damn, he's still listening to that?" But I like a variety, depending on the mood. Contemporary Christian music makes me cry (tears of joy). I love that song, "I Still Believe". And sometimes I still crank up the 60's and 70's rock and roll. My girls think (know) that I'm going through my second childhood. Been doing that since I left the Way, I think.
Books I Like
I gotta be honest... I don't take the time to read much. Too busy doing other things, I guess. The last book that I read and really enjoyed was "This Present Darkness". I think that was the title, and I'd have to look up who the author was. But it was good.
Television I like
Fox News. And those old episodes of Andy Griffith and Barney Fife. Always a good lesson to learn, huh.
Sports Teams I like
My high school (I live in the town that I grew up in). I also have to pull for Clemson, since I've had two daughters go through there. And I've always liked Peyton Manning, so I usually pull for the Colts.

Not sure you remember us, but we were in Clemson as WOW's in the early 80's then we restored a seaside plantation mansion for Rear Admiral Joseph McDevitt in Charleston (he was VP at Clemson University.) Anyway, just saw you on the list and it was a blast from the past. Hope all is well. Gene Paul and I are blessed to have 3 beautiful grandchildren and our girls are doing very well- married and very blessed. Thanks for our time in beautiful SC!
God bless,
Deb and Gene Paul Nesgoda
I was hoping to see you on this website. Those two weeks we spent in also Oklahoma were one of the many highlights of my life. I remember it as a time that I really got to see how believing works and continue to draw from and build on those lessons.
We live in Carrboro North Carolina and I work in Rocky Mount where I have a private chiropractic practice. We have been here for almost the teen years. Believe it or not this is the longest I have ever lived in one house let alone one town. Growing up I was a military brat literally every three years. We like this area for lots of reasons. One reason is we are close to the beach which makes it nice to get away several times a year
I have been an avid fan of Jimmy Buffett since you introduced me to his music downfalls. We have been to a couple of concerts in Raleigh and always have a great time. Sometimes I'm not sure who was more entertaining Jimmy Buffett for the crowd
Now that we have made contact and try to stay up to move more often. Your wife looks beautiful as ever in the picture please give her my regards. If I ever make it to the Charleston area I will be sure to view a period please do the same if you ever get to our area. My e-mail address is gmoore@suddenlinkmail.com and my cell phone number is 252 -- 883 -- 4293.
Love and blessings to you and your family. Talk to you next time.
Good to see you on this site.
I'll e-mail your neyle@neylejones.com address.
Take care,
Johanna
Can you believe our kids are now the same age that we were when we first knew each other. But, at least we knew everything about life and it's unfortunate that they don't (yeah, right!) I'm glad you are a simi-retired realator cuz that means you did well throughout the boom and can now float through the bust.
I look forward to staying in touch.
