It was wonderful seeing your message to me. The birthday celebration was smashing!!! I have two wonderful daughters and they put together a surprise birthday party in the area with friends and family. They really got me off guard.
I also received a wonderful birthday gift in the mail which a beloved friend in N. Carolina put together which I was incredibly taken back by. Laine Walter, who I know you must have spoked to because of your contribution, put together a collection of notes and comments from a many of the old Way folks as well as some others.
I'm still amazed by the outpouring of memories and events that touched the lives of others. I guess we really don't realize the full impact our lives and the comments we share in conversation which go by so quickly and many times unnoticed.
Your warmth in your message was a tremendous blessing to my heart as I to have wonderful memories of us singing and sharing the word with others. I particularly have great memories of the trip we made to the UK many years ago. We truly live a magical and inspirational life with each other and of course with our heavenly Father.
I can only begin to imagine the wonderful hope we share of the return of our Lord as we enter the Kingdom of God for ever and ever. As this life goes by it really the only thing worth breathing for.
I'm eternally blessed knowing that we will be sharing this future together. You are a great man and a privilege to have as a Brother in Christ.
