your thoughts about politics make sense to me. john stossel would agree with them, i'm sure.
rules on this site: be nice. uh, i do hope i did not seem mean with the comments i posted and have sense deleted. i was "encouraged" to remove them. squelched, if you please; rudely, yes, but in no way was anything about it "nice". i am not too worried about it as i just don't participate here; maybe i have been to this site 10x's all told, commented, maybe 3x's.
Hi Michael,
Thanks for commenting and I appreciate your questions. I do not consider the last administrtion conservative. Apparently you do and that is fine with me. Debbie's mom taught me, "everybody can do whatever they want anytime they please". I very rarely comment on this site, maybe once every year or two, or any other site for that matter, and so being a novice at posting I really don't know the rules, are ther rules? Anyway, I lazily scanned some of the points on Hope's blog and I seem to recall discussion about liberal/conservative views with regard to religion in practice. Now I happen to accept anyone with regard to religion or none and I would hope to be accepted myself, hence the golden rule. Anyway, I feel that the liberal/conservative wars are pervasive among religions, governments, various groups and even within families. Nevertheless, is there a code of rules for posting here? Did I violate a code of some kind written or understood? I hope not. Finally, I am neither for the liberals nor the conservatives. What I am for is the free choice of the American people and in time the ongoing increase in our government's size will begin to decrease and the cycle will go on. I value your thoughts and I wish American Idol had been around when you were in your 20s. That would have been fun to watch!
Hi Micheal: Please forgive my taking so long to get back to you. Yes I got them and they have really been fantastic. They came at the right point in life for me. In the past few weeks my business suffered a flood, I broke my left Tib-Fib (Leg) while fixing everything. It cost me $27,000 to fix it (The biz, not the leg) and finally tonight I reopened the place. I listened to the tunes many times over and they kept my spirits high. Thanks, Thanks Thanks. the songs truly were a God send. Oh, BTW I am now in what I call a climbing cast after only 2 weeks!
Michael,
Life does not necessarily treat us well, but our God keeps us well, and blessed!
John says you meant a lot to him, and it was a blessing to see you on this site.

Yeah, at least 25 years ago...that was your legacy....lol...
I was passionate about the Word, a bit of a nut (fun, not crazy) and people were always comparing me to you.
So true. For my needs, an integrated system makes sense. I took stacks of boxes and cables and replaced them with two primary components - a PC and a standalone digital deck. I can program midi percussion and other instruments easily enough on the PC and it runs smooth. The deck handles the bulky way files fine. And all the other goodies that are loaded in - mixer, monitoring, EQ, mastering, and a CD burner - it's hard not to like it. I got this one for 900.00 on eBay few years ago.
Mixing's the challenge. If I can get things to where they're listenable I'm happy, but after you listen to your own suff 1000 times mxing, it gets old quick. : )
I'm using a Yamaha AW16G, a digital deck, 16 track. I had a 4 track tape for awhile, went to a PC based system but that was in the mid-90's and well, "Crash" was it's middle name, just hadn't caught up with my budget to get a system that would handle it. So I tried a Boss 4 track digital deck, and liked it. Went to the Yamaha several years ago and have liked it.
