  • Michael. I just ran across you page here and had to say Hi! How are you? I checked out you websites, I cannot believe that you was into Gene Vincent.
I actually met him in England in the 60's. I was a big fan. She She She Little Sheila, His group the Blue Caps were fantastic, we patterned Our group, the Cheshire Cats around them, two leads, two basses etc, it didn't last but about 1 year then we down sized, I believe there is a photo of the Cats on my page here. Good to see you here my friend...DB
  • Michael,
Yea, John says that Seiffer came the year after you were in Dallas. After I eavesdropped I noticed and read your blog and would have replied to it except that it was so long ago. Your point about asking the questions resonated with my experience. I dropped TWI doctrine almost immediately but it took a few years to assess my true thoughts about religion/christianity in general. I'm not an atheist but I don't think anyone has the answers either. At this point in my journey "for me" it would be presumptuous and arrogant to make any statement regarding God. I guess that makes me an agnostic but I do not feel unspiritual. Oh, well, I'm probably preaching to the choir here.

Great that you will have TG with your kids this year. Our kids are my favorite people and I will miss them because all 3 of them are in the states for TG but we will be together for Christmas.

    John says "hey" to you!

    Janie
  • Hey Michael - sorry but I was eavesdropping on your conversation with John Seiffer. John (and his wife at the time, Wendy) was in Dallas for a several years but I can't remember if your time there overlapped with his. John is a great guy, one who actually thinks. I agree with you both. John (mine) and I are in Costa Rica for Thanksgiving. What will you be doing for the holiday? Janie
  • Michael - your name sounds familiar too, but I can't place it . It was a long time ago. I agree most folks didn't really get out - they just changed seats. Hopefully to ones where the abuse is not so blatant but still it's a mind-fuck in my opinion.
  • Hey there....yea it did....so busy, just got back from London...maybe we can catch up after the holidays.

    Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
  • 317-557-3776, but it looks like we'll stop in Mt. Vernon en route from Mamaroneck to Long Island for brunch with Christine's in-laws. I'll see if we can make that b-fast and get to you by 12-2 if you can make that work.
Hey, just email me at jalces@aol.com rather than use TWC site.
  • Hey Michael,
Yes, I've been reduced to doing comedy for deranged yutes, but it pays well. Now some of my "handlers" want me to re-do that video with a different shirt, saying that I am over the top enough by myself.
Hey, I don't think we can get out to Exit 59 or whatever it is when we come to NY in December, but if the spirit moves you, I'll be at Terence Timlin's in Mineola 12/5.
    I love you.
    John
  • Talk about children... your son looks a lot like you and daugher resembles her mom. Good looking kids. Both seem to have your crazy personality (according to the picture).
Good to hear you are still performing.
  • Hi Michael,
The last time I saw you, was in the Hampton’s. I believe "the Band" opened up for you guys... OK not really but they did play on stage before you guys played.
I'll let Jimmy know that you were asking about him.
No, I'm not an ex-Christian and I'm certainly not looking for a fight either.
    Peace from an old friend,
