It's exciting to see you on this site. One of these days we need to catch up. My wife Ellen and I are going on the reunion cruise. How about you? Can you make it? It would be great to see you.
Also my sister Andra (you sang at her wedding), lost her husband a couple years ago and she is remarrying next summer. Maybe you could do a repeat performance.
Everything is good here and please let me hear from you.
Philip Dean
You look great! I'm so happy you are doing well :)
Diane (Diggs) Modrcin
Weren't you friends with Debbie Bowen? I would like to connect with her and wonder if you ever hear of her?
Shannon (Walls) Nye here....oh what times we had, huh? I have fond memories of you. Glad to see you (on here) again! Do you still make the best tabouli in the world?! I would love to have your recipe! Life is good, God is great.
Love ya,
Shannon
PS. you can write me on mine and I will get it at my gmail. This just happened to be up, so here I am! :)
But as far as the guy singing "People Get Ready", well, guess who? It's Rod Stewart singing, and Jeff Beck on guitar. But ya know, I think that Johnny Rivers may have been the one to make that song famous, initially. But I am a huge Jeff Beck fan, and dagnabbitt, it was so refreshing to know that Rod Stewart sang that song about the Hope. Cool huh? And if you have the time. listen to "I'm Goin Down" by Jeff Beck here on my page. Maybe you will agree with me that it is one of the great guitar tunes of all times. That's only opinion of course, but, naturally, my opinion is the right one....Hah!
Anyway, nice to chat with you Brother, and God bless you....
Kevin
P.S.
Shannon is still in Florida, and as a matter of fact, she just spent the evening with John and Hope Richeson at their home in Tampa Bay. Sipping toddies around the pool ya know. She's having a blast, being outside of Alaska for the first time in a good while....Yah, ya just hafta get outa here once in awhile or you can go a bit looney...
Life is good. I've been working as a medical writer/editor for almost 20 years now. Tyler is living nearby (after many years living far away), and he's fixing up a 120-year-old house I bought.
I loved your comment about life being much less narrow now...amen to that!
I know you're still singing, but are you still dancing? You were hands-down the best dancer I ever danced with. Ha, remember the disco in, I think, Ft. Wayne where a bunch of us went from RC to dance? What fun!
Lots of fond memories come to mind when I see the faces and read the words of people on this site. Here's to making fond memories today that we can cherish tomorrow!
Love ya,
Linda
