About Me

After graduating into the Way Corps, I was in Amarillo, TX. for three years. I was in Denver for about 6 months and then went back into residence at Emporia. I then spent two years in Corpus Christi, TX. I moved back home to San Antonio in 1986. I missed the Mexican food. There is nothing like the Mexican food anywhere else. I helped out with the region and limb and also oversaw a fellowship. I still have fellowships in my home. In 1994, I married Rachel. Rachel has three daughters and a son. Quite a change of lifestyle for me and quite a challenge. We managed to survive, and they are now on their own. The oldest daughter, Raquel is married and has a son who is about 20 months old now. Rachel is so excited to have a grandson!

My Interests

My interest is learning. I love to learn. Right now, I am learning about antiques, coin collecting and plumbing.

Employment or Career

I started cleaning windows in Amarillo in 1980.Lots of fun to work in that cold, windy weather. The name of my business is Pay Les Window Cleaning. I also have rental property that I deal with daily. Rachel works for USAA Insurance. She has been working for them for 34 years! It is a great company to work for.

Music I Like

Most music, rock and roll, country, blues. San Antonio College has a radio station and every Sunday at 12, they have a 2 hour program called the Hillbilly Hit Parade. They play bluegrass, country and all of the oldies.

Books I Like

I still read my Bible everyday - Proverbs and Ephesians. I don't take the time to read like I used to and I miss it. I'd like to read that John Adams book and several others.

Television I like

I like the TMC - all of those old movies I'd never seen. I also watch the weather station - have to check for rain.

Movies I like

Firecreek with Jimmy Stewart Once upon a Time In The West

Sports Teams I like

San Antonio Spurs! How about that Manu Ginobli!

I have another home in KY and was there all week for their victories. Kentucky won yesterday. Basketball is a cult there. I bet they will be in the final four. Go CATS! Next time you are in Tampa you better look me up. Ill take you to my favorite beach, St. Pete Beach.

I never got thrown into the pond either. But! If they (whoever they where) would have tried it, they would be waiting for the return right now .

Les thanks for the B'day greet. I will never forget being with you in the 7th Corps. What a special time that was in our lives. I, for one, will never forget it. Nor do I ever want to. Hope to see you again some day some how.

I will be coming through there on the 7th or 8th oF April on my way to Tinnie New Mexico. I'll beworking with a group in Tinnie coming up in April called SOWERS. Look up on line www.sowersonline.com to find out about group. San Antonio wold be a good stoping point. Possible we could hock up In Christ Jack Wilson 8th Corps!

Me too Les. Hey one thing. The picture you posted here seems to be problematic on two computers I have used. Th eone entitled Goind Nowhere Fast. Maybe it is me. But could it be that picture is a huge file size and is therefore taking a long time to refresh? Check the size of that picture. If it is a huge file size you might consider resizing it to smaller and reposting it. Let me know if I can help.
