  • John  I'll call you when I get Back to Oregon.

  •  Mr. John Boykin!

So good to hear from you! You sound terrific, and it appears life has served you well.

For whatever reason, I do not recall you playing guitar for the Fellowlaborers -- electric or acoustic? Do you have any original music?

What year was your Fellowlaborers --  have you stayed in touch with any of the students?

Austin -- I contracted for a phone company there, and traveled in and out from Montana for several years. I have actually thought recently about moving down to Austin eventually. We shall see.

Please post some pictures of your family when you get a chance, and when we get the music player installed on this site, we can play your music.

Love to you, John! And, let me know if I can do anything for you.

    Steve S

  • John, yes 2 different trips. They do seem to blend together. Both to HQ. Not sure if they were the same year. Emporia to HQ. may have been our first year, Just visit for a week or 2. They Sent us home because we were late. Gunnison to HQ. was after living at Gunnison for 3-4 months. Remember changing that guys tire or were we helping him Chain up on Monarch Pass in the snow w/ those Semi's coming around the bend. I thought we were going get killed, too funny. Gosh we had some fun didn't we?  Do you remeber the song we did at that bar? Tequila Sunrise or was it Peaceful Easy Feeling?

Yes Still Playing, Mainly Church Rock stuff. We always kid about starting a Tom Petty knock off band, now we probably could, sadly. Yes lets keep the Dialog going.

Blessings on you, Marie & the Family- Stay in Touch Brother.

Yes I remember all those events very- Fond memories. I was just telling someone the story of us hitching to HQ out of Gunnison all night on the side of the Road freezing. Then I found that $20 bill on the side of the Road, we were right next to a truck stop, so we went & had Steak & Eggs w/ pobably 4 gallons of hot Coffee. too funny!

Are you Still sing & playing Guitar. We did write a song together too!

  • John, got a barratone guitar, it could not sound better, unless played by someone with your brain and skill. You want one?
  • John, our email is crawlins@triad.rr.com.  We live in NC, in a small town named Kernersville that is equal distance from  Winston-Salem, Greensboro, and High Point.  Chris does not have a Facebook page, but I do, and if you do also, send me a friend request.  You can see updated pictures of us and what we are up to!

  • Hello John. Welcome to the Way Corps Site! It has been a lot of fun for many of us, even if only visiting once in a while. There are over 1,700 members registered here. It is a good format for staying in touch and remembering some of our good times in The Way Corps such as this photo might illustrate.

You will find a cross section of many people from many different Corps groups ranging from Way Corps 1 to Way Corps 40. There is a search feature that will allow you to find people easily. We have a lot of fun content to look over from or varied past.

Here is an instructional video made by NING which gives you plenty of tips on using this site as a new member. And here is a welcome letter I wrote when I started this site some 8 years ago before the Facebook era. Let me know if I can help you with anything or answer any questions. I hope you enjoy The Way Corps Site.
