  • Hey, Joanie,
I didn't recognize you with blond hair. Looking good! Still with your beautiful smile. I hope you remember me- we share a room in Emporia one quarter. I think we were in the same Twig too but I'm not sure about that. I'd like to hear from you.
  • Hey Joanie! Nancy(Merritt)Skibsted here. Good to see you girl!
  • Joanie,

God Bless! This is Joe Wood. You may not remember me but we graduated from the 13th Corps together. Do you have a fellowship? Have a good friend that is looking for a fellowship. If so, please email me at jwood2088@yahoo.com. Thanks, God Bless!
  • Joanie:
Great to hear from you! Sounds like life is good, as it should be, for you. I have to look up Novato; I'm not good with the geography over that way. Do you fellowship with anyone over there that I might know? Maybe we will cross paths one day soon; it would be wonderful to see you. I'm sorry to hear to that you lost touch with Susan, but I also have lost touch with several people very dear to my heart. I'd love to see a pic of your family. I've been listening to a CD called Twelve Hymns out of Ohio. My fav song is "He Is Risen" and I've been told that the soloist is Joe's wife. It touches my heart and gives me goosebumps; I like to crank it up loud in the car. :) You sure are sweet; I remember your very subtle and witty sense of humor. Do you ever see Greg Emminizer? I do, once in a while. Take care and God bless!
  • Joanie:
God bless you! How the heck are you doin? I've been thinking of you...wondering if you were still in the Bay Area. What about Susan? Do you remember when I flew up to visit the two of you for the weekend, oh about 20 years ago? I really enjoy you. I live in the Sacramento area now. Give me the rundown on your family, etc. Love you A LOT. In Christ, Marianne
  • Hi Joanie,
I saw your smiling face and thought I'd say hi. No more little pancakes, huh? I do hope you are well.
    Lots of love!
    John
  • Now that's not fair... Joe is 60, Ken is 57, I'm almost 51 and you're still in your twenties. Time and gravity have taken an awful swipe at us old farts but you look simply mah-va-lous, darling.

What a treat to get re-acquainted. As you can see, we've got four kids - the oldest is headed to college next fall in Columbus. We're glad because she will be near family and friends and the fellowship there is wonderful.

Remember we sat together at the big top for the 40th/Inauguration? We were supposed to have this big fancy shindig with ballroom dancing, but instead Craig babbled on until the wee hours and we all froze to death in our thin fancy clothes. You and all the other women in your ball gowns and open toed shoes were shivering and curled up in your ice-cold metal chairs.

    Ah, the good old days.

And you, too, keep in touch.

  • Hi Joanie!

Remember me? Great to see your happy face. I've stayed in touch with Tracey Taylor now Adams. She is still in Phoenix. You and Tracey were my dear sweet friends during your interim year when you were in Phoenix and I was growing in God's truth. You were always so much fun... acutally, we all were so much fun!

Do you remember that really buff short guy? I think his name was Michael. He worked with me at Hi-Health and I think he was from NY.

I moved to CA a year after I graduated. I got married when Mike graduated from the 16th Corps. We were in LA for over 17 years and then moved more north. We live just south of Fresno. MIke does teachings around Lodi. Mayber we can get together sometime.

Check out my site here for photos of the husband and kids.

    My email address is seatedinchrist@gmail.com

I'd love to hear from you.

    Much love and grace,
    Kathy
