Thanks for asking about Sam. The team is having a tought year (no pitching really) but Sam has been doing ok. Each day they play is a double header and Sam only catches one game usually - which is fine with me as it is easier on the knees. He missed a couple of games with a strained bicep but is doing well now. He is hitting about .290 I think and his on base % is over .400. He is pretty disciplined at the plate and gets a lot of walks.
The pitching has been frustrating. Last weekend they got up on a team 11 - 4 after four innings and then gave up an 11 run 5th. The opposing team won with 15 hits on 10 runs. Lots of walks did them in.
For stats I go to the Ellsworth athletics home page and click on ICCAC Conference at the top. From the conference site you can pick the sport baseball and get to results/stats for each team. I know that the Ellsworth stats are not completely up-to-date though.
Love to your family - hope all is well with you folks.

Bless your wonderful heart. Great to hear from you. Thanks for your comments and encouragements. Glad the newsletter is a blessing. The Word is on the move all over the world. Ephesians still reads the same as it always did. What a great day to be alive!
Nice to see the photos on your WC site, too. You and Margie are apparently quite skilled at photography. ... and the "old shoes" still feel the best, but there's a lot of new walkin' to do! Let us know if we can ever be of help to you guys. Live it up, Kevin
