About Me
Native Iowan... First got involved with ministry while attending Beloit College in Beloit, WI.
Married 36 years to Luanne- We have one son, Tate who is a freshman in College.
My Interests
Family - Christianity as a way of life - Education - Music - Sports - Exercising - Learning
Employment or Career
Just completed my Doctorate in April 2011 in Educational Leadership at Western Illinois University. Currently in my 11th year serving as the superintendent of schools in Maquoketa, IA.
Music I Like
Still enjoy mostly mellow music from the 70's and 80's- Neil Young, The Eagles, Gordon Lightfoot.
Thanks to my son, my tastes have broadened in recent years... I attended something called the Warped Tour in each of the past 4 years (They needed a driver.) Actually found some lesser-known bands that I like: Reel Big Fish; Streetlight Manifesto and All Time Low to name a few.
Books I Like
My favorite education author is Michael Fullan... Seems to understand the complexities of implementing systemic change in complex organizations.
Also enjoy Malcom Gladwell - He often offers a different/unique perspective on things.
Television I like
Don't watch much T.V... But have great memories of enjoying Seinfeld re-runs with my son.
Luanne likes those house buying shows so we watch those sometimes.
Movies I like
Haven't seen too many movies lately... However, I can say with certainty that "A River Runs Through It" is my favorite.
Also can't help but watch "The Wizard of Oz" when it comes on... Still get creeped out by the flying monkeys but like the songs.
Sports Teams I like
Long time Saint Louis Cardinals fan. Got to take my son to the World Series and 2006. Great fun and fond memories.
Also have been a loyal Browns fan in football... Helps me identify with many of my friends who are loyal Chicago Cubs Fans.

That dismissal was just wrong on so many levels I don't know where to begin! It's clear in hindsight. Oh well. Ancient history in my opinion. Religion can be cruel. Nothing can be done about it now. Sounds like you guys found success and blessings galore in spite of it. Good for you!
Enjoy this corner of the Internet. I wanted a place where we could preserve and share some of the Way Corps experience from the 0 Corps to present day, including documents, photos, music and of course each other. These are not "old wineskins" as they were so wrongly called. How absurd. This is a representation of decades of great people's lives and experiences in the Way Corps and beyond. IMO TWI should have made a site like this. For whatever reason they didn't. So I did.
Luanne is also welcome to join. I recommend separate profiles for the two of you like on FaceBook. Keep having a great life. I hope we can meet one day. Take care.

This site is great fun. You can catch up with old friends and find out what they've been doing. There are thousands of photos to see, music to listen to, videos to see and lots of information about the Way Corps. This site has evolved into sort of a digital store house for all things Way Corps. For most it is not a social site like FaceBook. It is more of a heartwarming corner of the Intenet for remembrance of some of the good that came out of it all. Its focus is more on the positive than the negative. It's all about the peeople.
Anyway...enjoy and
Let me know if I can help you with anything or answer any questions.
