Surfing Lake Michigan

  • Brian McDonald Chris, that was taken last year in Holland MI. I surfed your area a couple of years ago. Picnic Tables by Patrick's. Waves every day for 6 days. Enjoyed the warm water but a little nervous with all those spinners lurking.

  • Hey, remember Houston?

One of the greatest years of my life. It was excellent being W.O.W. with you! Been wondering where and how you are. Drop me a line if you like yatsar2@yahoo.com

  • Yes, I did work for the Way Magazine for ten years. Steve and I divorced in 1984 in Atlanta, and I went immediately to The Way College in Emporia and from there to HQ, and remarried while on staff in 1987. I remember the times in Maryland so fondly. There was a great community there. I did not even consider myself a christian when Steve dragged me along, almost kicking and screaming, but the love and power were undeniable. I would have sent this in a private message but i couldn't figure out how--haven't been on here in awhile. How's Michigan? I went for the first time this year--way up near Travers City. Just briefly.
  • Brian:
I took the class in Annapolis MD in the mid-seventies, and was really won to the Word by the wonderful believers in Maryland. You were one--not sure you'll remember me but I remember you fondly from those days. My name then was Finch and after 1976, Viner. I love the wedding picture of you and your daughter! Good to see you here.
  • Merry Christmas Brian and Sue....It's all about the family... Have a GREAT DAY!!!! Love Jerry and Margie
  • love to you brian and sue
  • Brian: Do you know what I remember most about you? The time we put you in charge of our trip to HQ, and you decided (I believe by revelation) to take a different route (route 40 instead of 70) and we all thought it was crazy and then we traveled on 40, heard on the cb that route 70 was backed up 10 miles due to an accident. I have Tom & Annette address, they live in CO still. They came to see us several years ago. Diane & Carl are divorced. Carl still lives in Baltimore.Diane ?? Carol is on the this site. Debbie lives in TX, is married to a John Meyers & has 2 girls in college. I was just at a fellowship in Severn and Mark & Pilar Jones & her daughter Candance played music for us. I also saw Dave Jerome and Christopher Brooks there. The Annapolis wow year was one of the most exciting times for me. The Word moved like crazy! I wrote to Robert in CO for a while. I was so sorry to hear about Bobby too. I would love to have a Sonlight cd. My husband and I live on the Eastern Shore. I have 4 kids. two with Mike P. They are 30 & 28 and a 18 &13 year old with my present husband, Michael Allinder. Yes, I remember taking the dog to the ROA, was I crazy? I camped and he ended up staying at some hotel kennel. God seemed to always cover for my craziness!! love ya, Darlene
  • I am not sure if you are the same Brian McDonald I knew. Did you get into the Word in Annapolis MD? Darlene (Schulz, Parker) Allinder
