  i don't remember telling you the story but i do remember the story. actually julia the taxi cab lady (she was my mom's friend too) pulled over and retrieved the shoe and brought it to our house !!!!!!!

  Good to hear from you. What's with the Pittburgh jersey while you live in NY? You gotta take crap for that a bit. Me, I'm a well known Michigan fan in my hometown here in North Carolina. Talk about eating crow...imagine what I went through after the Appalachian State Mountaineers beat U of M at the Big House. ASU was a teacher's college until 20 or so years ago...it was a HUGE deal, as I'm sure you know. It'll do wonders for that school, now that a couple million people know that exists. My son and his sweetie are going there next year.

  Hi Jerry, We were both sent to Grand Island on our first Lightbearers experience in the Spring of our first year at Emporia. I think you guys stayed with Roger Ireland, but I can't remember who we stayed with. Maybe we stayed with Roger. Anyway, I ended up getting assigned there as a WOW my interim year and the town got hit by 7 tornadoes - $300,000,000 worth of damage. But God was gracious and left the homes of both WOW families unscathed even as all homes for several streets around lost their second storeys by the other family and the tornado to hit the area around my family's house lifted up 3 blocks prior and landed 3 or 4 blocks past. Anyway, GI was fun. And so were the Phillies this year.....but you probably don't want to hear that or the name of Jimmy Rollins anytime soon. But how about that Colorado team and their winning ways at the end of the season? I have never seen anything like it in my lifetime. And, unfortunately, my old body can't take any more baseball except from the couch. I actually gave it up when my daughter was born. Where are your two sons that are in college? I have one in North Carolina and one in Williamsport, PA. Nice looking family!

  Thank you for your comments about being on 6 minutes and getting 8 hits, I want to remind you of what Anthony Gordio of Malba said many years ago, which still rings true today, "I don't care if they are talking good or bad about me, as long as they are talking about me!" bring on the glory!
