AND, we googled her and tried to open the Greasespot Cafe site.  It's closed.  Well, butter my butt and call me a bisquit!

That was over five years ago. She…"

  • Hi Janis:
Take your time. You may want to download the sessions because I will be taking down the site before long. I will relay the message to Deb.

  • Janis, Thank you for your message of encouragement. Teaching is a blessing, an opportunity for the holy spirit to work in you ~ without it any teacher becomes dry and a responsibility which we will be held accountable for. "Go tell" is our saviours declaration. Whether we do that well or not we are to go tell. We do it to the best of our ability because of His invitation. He knows that we are dust and that we are dealing with self, yet He allows us to serve. What an honour, what a privilege is ours. He is coming back! We dont have so long to serve Him and when he does come back we MUST be found doing our Masters business. That is what we signed up to at Calvary, nothing has changed, he does not change, the world's need and depravity has not changed ~ only we can change to meet the challenge. Don't forget with jesus in the boat, you can smile at the storm, smile at the storm and he will take you to the other side no matter where you are.
    The Lord bless you, Don
  • Hi there,
Germans use the expression "Gottes Segen" (literally, "God's blessings") when greeting other believers . They do NOT use that expression to comment when someone sneezes :-)

    Have a good day
    may God bless you

  • Janis,

I can see where this is going to eat up a lot of my time. It's fun seeing where folks have headed since I saw them last. I have hooked up with a old friend from my Bronx days. I haven't talked to her in more than 20 years!

  • That was the very first LEAD group. I think we were supposed to but no one remembered to tell us we were supposed to bring the $10 back.
  • Why the hardhats? We had soft heads? I don't really know. I didn't know later groups didn't wear them.
  • It is a a beautiful day here today - 70 and windy!
Meanwhile I am doing my taxes - payroll taxes all due today!

Nothing more beautiful than late April - my favorite time of the year!

Very interesting about the police chief's daughter - the police chief now is Dan Collins - perhaps I can inquire at the local library for you.

The wonderful new Center for Arts - Theater here on Central Ave is having auditions for a special performance - play on Historic Remembrences of Faribault - they are taking open auditions.

    Have a great April day,
    Matt
  • HI Janis,
Thanks for your welcomed words - it is pleasant to hear from you again.
I am doing fine considering it is taxes time and I must toil over those forms for the next couple days.

It is sunshine in Minnesota today - it was a very pleasant Sunday.
It has been a very very long winter - we just had a snow storm two days ago - the winter that wants to go out like a lion.
The last April snow storm was in 1983.

But we are looking forward to a pleasant sunny week.
    Matt

  • Janis,
Greetings from New Hampshire. We ( Alice and I ) have been here for 17 years now. We have 2 kids - daughter Shea (14) and son David (8). Where has time gone!? I believe this venue and being able to reconnect with folks I often think and still care about will get me into this e-mail thing. I work all day on the computer so I need the extra motivation to get back on for other purposes. Janis this is a start for me. There is much to say. I also need to get a better picture/s set up. As I tell the kids every day is brand new, and he is still coming back! Thank you for contacting me.

    Love
    Robert
  • Hey lady! Yes, we are at the ballfield more than we are at home..lol!! It's great fun.. Let me tell you briefly about MonaVie. It is a blend of wild fruits (19 of them) from the entire color spectrum. The acai berry is the "crown jewel" of them all and the acai is the first ingredient in the blend. This juice is Loaded with antioxidants and phytonutrients, among other things... You are getting your RDA of fruits and veggies in 2 to 4 oz a day. Who eats 5 to 7 fruits a day? and if so, how nutritious are they? It's a convenient and healthful way of knowing you're giving your bod the nutrients it needs to maintain balance. I am passionate about this stuff.. My dad's swelling in his feet and ankles went away in 4 days!!! My creaky knees don't creak anymore.. My kids love it..I finally found something that tastes good that my kids don't have to be reminded to take!!It's the real deal..My energy, stamina, clarity of mind..all have majorly improved. It's amazing how much better you can feel..The antioxidants also drastically slow down the aging process..The science is all behind this... "making your vehicle of communication as vital as possible" I'll send you some web stuff to read more about it. It is also a fabulous company..They are INTO their distributors being successful and the support systems are terrific. Love to have you check this out and try MonaVie. my webpage.. www.mymonavie.com/vickieallen ALso check out www.buildthejuice.com , www.UpYourAntioxidants.com I'll send you some other youtube stuff too..
