My years in CO from Aug. 75 to July of 77 are some of the sweetest and most enjoyable I have from many years gone by. And it was because of the people God allowed me to serve, you being one of them. Thank you for your kind remembrance of me…"

Sometimes you go thru life not really aware of the quality of the people you're around...BUT by their fruits you shall know them. That is true of you and in a very good way. From 'your tree' there has been borne some fine and faithful fruit…"

  • Hello George, You were a man of reason and the extention of God's true love and tenderness in 1987 Dallas.
  • Hi, George! Oh so many fond and funny memories of Corps coordinator days at Emporia!!! AND those "roving" years of mine in good ole Calif!! What ON EARTH IS A "WOW/CORPS ROVER anyway!!! Love, Kathy
  • Hey George.

We live in Pea Ridge which is north of Rogers and Bentonville. We live 80 miles east of Branson which is about 30 miles northg of Harrisson.

Please do let us know when you are planning on droping by so we can be sure to be here.

Jane and I leave for Tel Aviv tomorrow afternoon on a ten day tour of the Holy Land. We will be back on March 20th.

We will be on the Mount of Olives on Palm Sunday and actually travel into Jerusalem along the same route Jesus did during his entry as King into the city.

Good to hear from you as always and since I lived in Texas for over two years I consider myself a Texan y'all.

Have a good one and talk at you later.
  • Hi there George,
How's it going? Dave and I are in Redlands, CA. Saw your profile. I'm blessed to see you are doing well. We hope to hear from you. Love ya,
    The Bergeys
  • Good to hear from you George.

Jane has been talking about a trip to Texas, possibly late September or early October. If is works out we'll give you a holler.

If you are in our area of N.W. Arkansas at anytime please let us know so we can get together and have some "ice cream."

    Have a blessed day
  • Hi George,

I was just invited to the site and while browsing the members I came across you and wanted to say hi.

Jane (Kienholz) and I live in Northwest Arkansas on five acres where I grow and sell organic produce and eggs and beef on the hoof.

We are still involved with ministry as the Lord leads us and He keeps us quite busy.

I just wanted to touch base and say hello.

    God Bless,

    Frank and Jane
  • just thinking about my sweet friend and wanted to say hello, love laine
  • Well hello Brother. Darla and Poppy send their love to Rex as well as I. Don't see myself getting to TX anytime soon. It is good to see your smiling face again. I've been working very long hours for many months now. You would think with all the mortgage madness in the news business would have slowed down, but not in my world. It has been overwhelming. But gotta take the monsoon with the drought... Hope your business is prospering and your life is blessed with all the glory of God. Hugs from me to you.
  • Hi George:
You look pertty good for and old guy. Are you using a 20 year old picture? ;) I sure glad to see you here and have often wonder what has happened to all the 3rd Corps. Some I know but other I haven't a clue. Do you ever get to Chicago in your work? We would love to have you visit if you can. We live in Rockford which is about an hour drive from O'Hara Airport.
    Love Ya Brother,
    Charlie
  • George,
Janet is on this site. She's Janet Anderson. She hasn't done much yet cause she started a new job. Ed is still with the ministry. We don't talk much. Penny Boone is on here too. She's Penny Marchaud.
Thanks for writing me back. I have many great memories of you. I know we were all a handful, but I loved those crazy days! You know, The Word moved like crazy with us nuts! That's what I'd like to see again! I've stayed faithful to teaching The Word all these years and I'm not about to stop now! I believe this site is really healing. I've been praying for years to find others still sold out to what we know is truth. Sure some things were messed up but that's because we are silly humans! That's what was so great about Grand Lake. We were all a bunch of screw ups but we were ok with that! We all kind of just overlooked each others problems and looked on each others hearts. Thanks for putting up with us all!
Poor Jed Lowman! He was so in over his head! Actually, he was the perfect choice to run our class. He was simply loving. Nothing else would have worked!! I don't know if you knew this but I unintentionally missed sessions 10 and 11. I was down in Denver buying a car. I thought it was the right thing to do but then I couldn't get back to Grand Lake for the class. (It's a long story). Any way I got back just in time for session 12. Jed told me I couldn't stay since I missed 10 and 11. I told him tough and stayed and spoke in tongues. I guess that's why you came yourself and ran the next class. Do you remember that the 2nd class was at my house? (the one you ran?) I know that I wasn't the only one that posed a challenge for Jed. Oh well, crazy times! From what I remember, the class you ran went well. We all loved you George. We were just such hippies, ha ha!
Your daughters are beautiful!! You must be so proud of them.
I still look up to you!
    Love Always,
    Donna
