"Glad to hear you are both doing well. We love visiting Hawaii and also living in the desert. Our second granddaughter recently arrived and she is as sweet, wonderful, and smart as the first one! Imagine that!"
God bless Barb and Sonny and family,
Thanks for your note. Congrats on grandparent-hood. Please refresh my memory of your children, one of whom I dedicated, right? Must be middle-age, you know?
We are living victoriously here and sharing the simplicity of God's word in love. I am looking forward to the sound of the trumpet and the voice of the archangel more than ever and am thankful to be part of the great one body.
We think of you fondly and gratefully for your love for God, his people and us.
Wishing you well, prosperity and health, peace and joy, with love from above,
In Christ,
Chas.
Sonny! I was just over in "Chat" and saw your photo. You have on, in your photo, a Washington Redskins Super Bowl Champs jersey! Yeah!! I am a died in the wool 'Skins fan from my ute! Grew up in Bethesda, Maryland. My big brother actually played pre-season ball with them until he was cut, back in like 1969-70. He played for Rutgers before that. Well, ya don't make it into the NFL as a defensive lineman when you only weigh 180. But at least he wore the helmet for a bit! And, they said he was very good, but just too little. Oh well...
Anyway, I am upholding the Redskin's tradition way up here in Alaska. And ya know, there are lots of Alaskan Indians up here who just love the Washington Redskins jerseys and ball caps. To many of them, the REDskins are their team! So much for "political correctness" with this bunch huh? Kinda cool that...
And hey, your name is familiar to me from back in dem Way days. I was in the Tenth Corps, not too far removed from you "Sickth" Corps...
Wally,
I'm still here! Remember that line from ROA's 71 or was it 72? A long time ago and far, far away.
Hope all is well for you, Barbara and family. Call me sometime if you want to chat.
God bless brother!

I was in Norfolk my apprentice year 1980/81. Sonny told me to read The Teaching Techniques of Jesus, I still have my copy. That was the best year I ever experienced for classes, outreach etc. What a time we had. I still remember you two dancing at a Christmas party to "Once, twice, three times a lady"!! God Bless you!
Seeing your names on this site this morning brought a smile to my face and a lot of sweet memories - dances, parties, hay rides, cookouts and lots of sharing of God's Word. I always enjoyed your leadership and fellowship.
Sonny and Barbara:
How great to see that came on this site. We heard about it last fall and have reconnected with many people whom we have loved for years but lost track of. We trust you're doing well. We have fond memories of you both and would love to hear more from you when you have the chance.
Much love,
Brad and Chris
Barbara and Sonny, So great to see your names online! It is funny to see all the names from the ECU/NC days! I posted some old photos...one of the Pilot Council Camp at Hdqtrs from 1974. You are both in that photo...check out my page and you will see the photo. We sure had a great time working all the Camps and Advances, didn't we? I am in upstate NY, Saratoga Springs area. Been married for 25 years and have three fantastic kids.
All my memories of you are loving and fun ones! Just wanted to send you some of that love here on this site!
I am still in touch with Robin Hamilton (was Newcomb) and Chris Newcomb - Both are on this site...Gosh, I love having these sweet connections on this site!
Much love always, Michelle Hershey Poccia
