  • Hi Donna! Our Jesse's are both freshmen now, hard to believe. I remember when we saw you last, and you still look great! I'm a single mom now, living outside Little Rock, AR (left Nashville 2003). Glad to have a way to contact you again, I've thought of you and Danny many times over the years, always fondly. You guys are great.

    Take care ~ Chere
  • HI Donna: I was led here by your comments over on Ken Brown's page about Croatia... glad you posted pictures. Wonderful journey! May God bless you!

PS: if you post a blog on your Croatian experiences, I will read it!
  • Donna, Thanks for your kind comments.I have very fond memories of our time together in Connecticut. Our desire to move God's Word and help people made for some exciting and challenging times. Give my love to Danny.
  • Hi Donna.....Good to hear from you. Sarah did tell me that she saw and talked with you at Safeway. I am surprised that you recognized her but then again she looks like a grown up Sarah is all. :-) Much like your kids. They look the same only older. My Sarah is 25 years old. Can you believe it? Time flies.

I really haven't even been on this site since I signed up. So this is my first comment to answer.......all new to me. I am seeing others that I know. I will have to post some pictures. I'm sure I look the same also, only older! Ha!

Love your pictures. I am working on heading to Europe one day....sooner than later I hope. I want to do more out of the country traveling. So far have made it to Aruba and Puerto Rico (ok so its a commonwealth of the US but very much foreign country to me...). I will be going to ancestral Germany among other places.......so many places to see.

How is Danny? You both look great. You'll have to tell him 'hi'...would love to hear him play again.... You take care.
  • Nice pics, I liked your comment about helping people get out of debt. What bondage! I've experienced it personally and when I was selling cars. Two years ago I was working at a high volume Toyota dealer in Indy and so many of the people that the banks would approve really couldn't afford to buy a car. Then we'd bury them just a little deeper. That's one of the reasons I changed careers, because alot of what we did conflicted with my personal feelings about things. Since reading one Dave Ramsey's books I've thought that I'd like to be doing something like you're doing but really didn't know quite how to go about that. Have you heard of Dave? if not, google him. I'm currently working for a company as a Medicare advisor. To make a real looooonggg story short, people need to be very informed and be proactive with their Medicare options. Someone with a a few $100k that has to deal with health problems can have their net worth swallowed up in no time and end up broke AND in debt. Anyway, tell me more about what you are doing.... If Kim isn't married, tell her I still have a crush on her. Tell Danny that I've finally made it to Mel Bay Book 2 and going strong. Actually, If the 2010 Corps reunion works out I planned on bringing my guitar and amp, but only if he isn't there. I don't want to be embarrassed. God Bless, Jeff.........
  • Donna,

It looks like a great trip. Were you in Italy? You have a beautiful family and you look exactly the same. I was thinking your kids were a lot older then mine but maybe not. How old are they? My daughter Michelle is not 15 and the boys are about to be 13.

What does Danny do now that he travel so much?

Time has raced by... but with each passing moment we are ever closer to His return!

You hold a very special place in my heart.
  • Hi

  • Hello Donna,
thank you very much for your comment. Perhaps you can convince your husband to plan in a few extra days to his next Germany trip and to take you along ? If so, let us know ...I might just have some ideas for sight seeing, and we do have a small guestroom ...
    Cheers,
    Wolfgang
  • He went to Agrigento, Syracusa, Montreale (which is where his dad's family's from) Taormina. I've been to Sicily twice... once with my parents and then my interim year. There actually was a fellowship in Agrigento. All these places were beautiful!! Taormina was probably my favorite. It's a city on the side of a mountain along the sea... bellisima! My dad had to drive past Mt. Etna at 3 a.m. on the side that was active... He said he never saw anything that spectacular! It's definitely on my short list of what I'd love to see! It is amazing that people live below active volcanoes!
    So your sicilian too!
ciao bella ... now I'm getting goofy... The NY italian is coming out!
  • I did 6 months chemo, mastectomy on 1st Aug. radiation in Sept and Oct. I feel fine, always have. I threw up only three times through it all, and was able to serve my family without a hitch. I am to begin taking an estrogen blocking drug for 5 years, and everything looks like a textbook case.....God has been gracious. The difficult part has been the husband thing. The God thing is much more interesting, and we see His care on a daily basis.

We moved to Cheyenne 15 months ago from Delaware, our home for 20 years, and where we had a full life. I can't begin to explain all of God's purpose in bringing us here. My kids and I have been faithful to serve Him and the body of Christ heer and my heart aches to think of the amazing friends we will be leaving behind. I can say with no regrets that we have planted many seeds and watered many others, and we can trust God to provide the increase.

I can also say that we are being welcomed back by another amazing set of friends, and we will serve God there yet again. We have my natural family, several "church" families, a homeschooling community, and our dear Children's Theater friends, where we can pick up where we left off and see how God has grown them since we left.

My only true regret is that my husband has chosen this path that he is on. Not regretful for myself, but that he will have to endure such consequences in the flesh that will inevitably follow. There is nothing I can do in the physical outside of prayer, and i really feel that my presence in this town will hinder any chance he has to "repent". So we move on and continue in prayer.
