About Me
God is good. Life is good. I'm happy, productive, and enjoying the fruits of fellowship and focused work. My children are healthy, happy, and equally focused. We have a roof over our heads, we have food to eat, clothes on our backs, and people to love. We live in America! What's not to be thankful for?
My Interests
My oldest child, Jon Anderson and his wife, Marlaina, moved to Seatlle WA for Grad School, taking my grandchildren, Amelia (9) and Noah (5). Jon has been a war correspondent/photographer for nearly 15 years, but having resigned his final post at the Pentegon, in favor of academic pursuits he has also taken time to enjoy his family, doing some writing and helping the wounded. Marlaina, another true minister, his best friend and devoted wife and mother, was the first to start grad school in Seattle. They both function as ministers without borders, having no particular affliliation save Jesus Christ. I am so proud of them both.
Katherine Rose is 19 and is a freshman at Miami of OH studying Art Education (k-12). She has complete confidence in God and prayer. She is bold in her declaration of the necessity of fellowship and without realizing it, she has become a minister of comfort and counsel to all in her circle. Sarah, 16, is an athlete - volleyball and basketball. Tall and lanky, she has her father's athletic genes. Both are great girls from whom I learn the greatest lessons in life.
Sports Teams I like
Local high school team: Sidney Yellow Jackets

You probably don't remember this, but in 1986 we had $10 in our pockets to move a family of 4 to Florida. When we went to our van to leave Rome City for FL, we found a $50 bill on our windshield. You never told us it was from you, but you were the first one we thought of and we were so overjoyed and thankful to have that money! We are still here in Tampa and God has truly blessed us through these years. We hold worship fellowships in our old cigar factory which we purchased with Nancy and Franklin Sebastian (Family Corps 11). Gene Paul has had his own business (historical restoration) ever since we arrived here, and I am an oncology RN. I still sing and have just released my second CD. Our girls are happily married and living up in NYC and Baltimore. We have three gorgeous grandchildren. Cheyanne is just about to complete her PhD in Communication. Noelle is an actress and photographer in NYC (but focusing mostly on mother to her two little ones.) You look beautiful as ever and we are so overjoyed to hear about you and Jon (and your other family as well.) Hope to hear back from you.
With love and blessings,
Deb and Gene Paul Nesgoda
