  • Hi Christina,

I can still hear your laugh! I remember you from in residence and when Ellen Herring was here. Hope you are doing well. Drop me a line when you can.

  • Victor, There is another Way Corps guy in Smith county. Do you know what town you will be coming to? Tell me about your program. Christina
  • Thank you for the welcome, Christina. I will be moving to Smith County, MS which is a good ways south east of Jackson. I think it would be great to get together sometime when I come up to visit smith county! Look forward to it!
  • Chris, I do not have to think hard for you! In fact, I have been praying that somehow we would connect again! I remember you and your home and you talking about making caramel from canned milk and the can exploding. Also, I remember Jan McMullen and us making peach ice cream at your place, I think. I have been thinking a lot about Mississippi and wondered how much the area has changed. I have been wanting to travel down to MS and see the sights again, from Oxford to Jackson to Gulfport. Great to hear from you!!! One of the reasons I wanted to visit MS again is because of the Father Tim books. I see you love them too. What did you think of the latest one, Home to Holly Springs? I thought Jan Karon was bold to go in the direction she did, although I figured that the plot would end up the way it did. If you haven't read it yet, do so, it is good. Go to the website listed to see my paintings. I have more and will be getting my own website sometime in the future.
  • Hi Chris!
    Mom sends a big howdy.
I get to Jackson when I travel via air..I'll give you a shout to see if we can hook it up.
    Good to hear from you...
  • Hello Chris! So great to hear from you! Yup Dave and I talk regularly and like they say, " there's no friend loke an old friend." Please post some pictures soon. I remember your contagious laugh, hope you are still laffin!
Dave sent a recent pic of him and the kids, they all are bueatiful, even Dave!
  • Of course I remember you girl!! we fished in your Daddy's pond and caught cat fish, you had a beautiful bed,(did you get to keep that when you married??) I knew you married David, (Hal Smith keeps up)
glad you are well, still in Jackson MS huh,,,unbelievable...Dave is somewhere there in the state too?? anyway I am in CA right now, home of my birth, maybe someday I will return to MS,,,,time will tell, I do love the warmth (just hate that humidity) you see my page and my kids/grandkids?? unbelievable how quickly all that happens huh??

    good to hear from you,

    suzie
  • Yes! That was me! I remember you as "Chris" McQuillen. Weren't you married back then? Folks used to call my car the "Deer Mobile". I think it was Robert Kriebel who dubbed it that. I also used to have an "Ooogah!" horn on it that made it stand out somewhat. It was a 1969 Dodge Dart, and I swear, it was God's Grace that kept it from fallin apart fer sher. Ya know, I have some hard copy photos of that old thing somewhere. I'll have to dig 'em up, scan 'em in and post the pics. Dick Michaud already asked me to do so, and I haven't done it yet. I used to lend it to him to take "out on the town" of Emporia from time to time...

And so, nice to hear from you Christina!

    Kevin
  • Hi, Christina! I know the name, but things are a little fuzzy-ok, a lot fuzzy (lol). Can you give me a hint? Music, perhaps? Isn't this place fun? Look forward to hearing from you!
  • Do I remember you!! How could I ever forget you!! :) YOu always were just a joy to be with. I have been watching for your name to appear. I have wondered if you were in MS...didn't you live there at some point before the Corps?
