  • Yeah, Lightbearers in Des Moines. Sure was cold. I was glad to get to know you. Sue was great.

I had forgotten about that piece on the Hunters Safety course.

One thing that happened in Des Moines writing-wise -- I don't know if you remember -- but during Lightbearers training, some freakin' genius stood up at the podium and showed us how to send a press release to the local paper announcing our arrival. So like a good little Corps-pustle, that's exactly what I did when we pulled into town.

Yep, and my little press release kicked off a multi-part series of articles on "cults" featuring The Way International. I recently apologized to Wayne Clapp for whatever trouble my stupidity caused among the believers, but he replied that it was no big deal. Still, it was a good lesson for me. One of many subsequent.

  • Kris,

    Happy Birthday big guy!

Glad to know you are well. Would love to see you sometimes. I'll never forget seeing in the parking lot in downtown Atlanta back around 97/98. I think at the time you were at the Ritz-Carlton downtown.

Do you ever touch base with Michael Randman or Sandy Sanders...as you probably know they are both still in the area.? Let me know if you guys ever plan to hookup...would love to see you all.

    Love and blessings!
