Hi Doug, I met you a couple of times. I was your sister Jan's friend and went through the cops with her. I also knew your parents and the rest of the kids. I hear you are at the farm. Please give your mother a hug for me and tell her hello. She is a wonderful woman. I knew your dad too. Loved him to death. Nessie also lived with us for a short while in MS. You have a great family. All of them. Just wanted to drop you a quick line. I know that you don't really know me, but wanted you to say hello to your mom for me. Take care. Oh, she probably knew me as Chris Caracci or Chris McQuillen. I am now a Brossette. You are probably the closest Way Corps member to me. I don't think anyone else lives in Mississippi. At least I have not found any yet. Anyway, take care. If you are ever in Jackson, I would love to treat you to lunch or supper. Christina Caracci McQuillen Brossette
My brother Doug, I think this is so cool. Happy to hear from you. I can't wait, Victor said you were coming. Johnny and Jessica are at J.P.'s having a blast this week.
They got to see snow flurries yesterday. I can hardly believe Dale, Tom, Evon, and many more are getting re-connected. John R. has done a great service. Give my love to Mac. please. I am trying to get John & Victor to bring me there sometime. What about it? Love you Great One,
Shari
Hey Doug,
I was on LEAD Staff and we spent some time together at HQ playing guitar. I remember you had a song with something about Cherokee in it that I loved. I am a full time musician now and touring the eastern us, Europe and Virgin Islands. Will be in Memphis Jan. 31 to Feb 2 competing in the International Blues Challenge on Beale St. Are you still active with music? Would love to hear some of your stuff. I still think about some of the advice about performing that you gave me as I play.
Dan
I just listened to your song.....it's very sweet! I like your style. One day I will get Donnie on here to say hello. I do know that he loves you....as do I.
Bless your heart!
Bernie
Doug,
Just wanted to say "hi' and tell you that I love you...Thanks for all the heart you walked with and the great example of God's love you were to sooooo many people...Evon PS...love your music...do you have any CD's out??? Bye for now
No kidding! That was some of the most absolute fun I had at LEAD! I most enjoyed the tracking and the trailing of the dear. My second favorite activity was the time alone with the eagles up top on the other side of Sunset where they nested in the rocks. Talk about excitement. Those times thrilled my soul!
But moving on, how are the kids? Saw Donnie and Bernie Smith last March out in San Diego. Our boy, Jake, is out there now. They're doing great.
Doug, I am truly thankful for your support and for making life fun out there. I trust God continues to bless you in special ways.
P.S. There is a LEAD Group in this thing. You need to hook up with it. Give it some credibility:)
Hello Doug! and God Bless you Big! This is my first time on this site, though Jack has told me about it. Today is Jack's Birthday! He is a youthful 59! We won't say what that makes me. We are so tremendously blessed here in Pace, Florida. Our boys will be coming in for Christmas, so, as you might imagine, life is very active right now in a wonderful decorative sort of way.
Doug, thanks so much for the time at LEAD. I truly enjoyed that growth experience. In some ways, Jack and I are still back in that technology. Our oldest son, Johnny Ray, only recently convinced Jack to get a cell phone! Speaking of Johnny Ray; he is married almost 6 years and in the Navy 6 1/2. He married his high school sweetheart. They have blessed us with our first grandson, Johnathon Riley who is now 16 months and our second, Joseph Ray, is on the way. Our youngest son, Jake is in California with his Uncle Jim learning to work on Jaguars in Jim's shop and attending auto mechanics school. Jake, our youngest, is 22 and Johnny Ray is 25 as is Lisa, his wife.
Jack talked me into taking up golf by buying me a set of clubs for Father's Day a few years back, so that has become our recreational activity together. We are abundantly blessed and would love to have you come visit and stay with us here in Pace anytime. Lonnie Nelson (8th Corps) and his wife, Vicki (9th Corp?) were just through.
Keep holding It high Doug, Don't trip over any deer.
