  • thanks, pam. i am! same to you.

  • Great idea John. I meant to thank you as well for your time & expertise with this site. It is very well done. I haven't spent much time here, but appreciate the resource it is to get in touch with so many wonderful people. Erik was wildly enthusiastic. He had the infectious laughter & energy affect on me for which I will always be grateful.

  • Yes, I understand that & am happy they met & were together. So glad your group reunited & recorded the tribute song, wonderful. I don't know if I would have heard about Erik had it not been for your song. Thanks Michael, hope you're well.    Pam

  • Michael, I hope you don't mind if I post a link to that song Sandy Sanders wrote and you guys all played on in honor of his life. Click on this link to hear it:  Hangin' Round You

Erik seemed like a nice person.

  • I want to thank Sandy Sanders for replying to my inquiry about Erik. Unfortunately he passed 2 days after & I never had a chance to speak with him. Erik & I were friends in L.A. before entering the 11th Corps. Dave Garibaldi (Tower of Power) & others used to take us out to small clubs to hear live music. Awesome music & people. One club owner invited everyone to stay after the music for his wife's lemon meringue pie (for real). Sweet time, we were young! I am so thankful Sandy put me in touch with Natasha, Erik's nurse. We had a wonderful long talk. She was so nice to give me her time as it was a cold call. Here is a photo I tried to retouch, very old..from a prom like event at The Way College. ( 1983 )
