We Remember.....a slideshow by John R. from John R on Vimeo.

In my experience, many of our brothers and sisters who have fallen asleep were never given the honor and recognition they deserved. For reasons I won't go into here, I did not allow my grieving process to happen for some of my departed friends. This is my attempt at bringing such honor to our brothers and sisters who have fallen asleep. Here are some of them whose pictures I have. May they be recognized and respected for the good they have done. This was difficult to make and and I shed many tears thinking of some of these wonderful people. I am aware it is sad and am sorry that it may affect you so. But I feel better knowing they have been given a chance to be acknowledged. I am sure their families would agree. This is a work in progress as I get more pictures. Send some if you have them.

  • simplemente gracias.
  • Thank you for taking the time to do this, yes it was sad, but thank God for those wonderful men and women's lives and that we were allowed the privilege to know them~
  • Thank you, John, for your heart in sharing this. You are a real pro putting together a meaningful tribute and a smart delivery. Did you really make your living washing windows? ...Not in web design? There's hope for me, yet.

    God bless you.

  • Thanks so much for this, John. Your note about grieving touches all of us.  I certainly don't deal well (grieving) with the falling asleep of those who were once so close to me.  Our memories of them will have to soften the blow of missing them.  This video brings back so many of those great times with these cherished saints.
  • Thank you John for the opportunity to see the many faces of those we've loved and remember the many blessings they brought to our lives.
  • Jay Lehive (8) and his lovely wife -- I'm sorry I can't recall her name at the moment
  • John, wanted to let you know that Kristyne Panarello Crawley was 23rd Way Corps.  Thanks for putting the list and the beautiful video together.  Blessings.
  • Such a wonderful grace of life  - to have been around and known so many wonderful, deeply beautiful people.  Thanks, John.
  • John, thank you so very much.  Thank God for life after death.  This was heart touching as was the unique  piece of God in each these lives.  We are called to a family.  The video somehow draws me back to the words of the Son of God to His Father shortly before the crucifixion.  "And  this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent."   What a blessing to know God and to know people who know God.  Thanks again.
  • Very, very nice. I just kept thinking about how those folks remembered their creator when they were young and enjoyed fellowship with Him their entire lives, something very few others have ever enjoyed. They sleep now and we miss them terribly, but we grieve not as others who have no hope. The list will grow until Christ returns, and our own names may appear there one day, but what an honor that would be to even be named among these Godly heroes.
