memoriam

We Remember.....a slideshow by John R. from John R on Vimeo.

In my experience, many of our brothers and sisters who have fallen asleep were never given the honor and recognition they deserved. For reasons I won't go into here, I did not allow my grieving process to happen for some of my departed friends. This is my attempt at bringing such honor to our brothers and sisters who have fallen asleep. Here are some of them whose pictures I have. May they be recognized and respected for the good they have done. This was difficult to make and and I shed many tears thinking of some of these wonderful people. I am aware it is sad and am sorry that it may affect you so. But I feel better knowing they have been given a chance to be acknowledged. I am sure their families would agree. This is a work in progress as I get more pictures. Send some if you have them.

It's a wonderful tribute, John. At our age, we start to realize how short life really is and, more importantly, the wonderful Hope we have of living for all eternity. I continue to be ever so thankful for those brothers and sisters I have been privileged to know along the way. As more people I know and love are falling asleep, while I grieve and am deeply saddened, I also remember to celebrate their lives and thank God our paths crossed and the great blessing they contributed to my life.

For those who remain, let's continue to bless and comfort each other.

I saw the comments concerning this video on fb...............good thing you deleted it from that site.To many #$%^ holes on the planet..not that Im judging them,,like they are!!! :) IT's all good and I refuse to let the neg.side effect me.Its a journey and we all make choices in LIFE,,the dark side is such a waste of time and energy!!!

You make me proud John. You make all of us proud. This is more than a montage of friends, it is a montage of brothers and sisters, of family near and far. We all gave so much time, effort and heart to moving God's Word. Such a tribute is fitting and honorable and a reminder that none of our lives have been lived without purpose.

Thank you for doing this, John. It's a beautiful tribute to God's best. What rejoicing at his presence, when are banished grief and pain...Face to face with Christ is our hope of glory! I think of that song and remember singing it with the Way Corps so beautifully rich and full of hope. Some are asleep, many live on to proclaim the truth of God's Word. God bless you.
