Yesterday, some top prosecutors and sheriffs in the the "Show Me State" put together what they deemed the "Truth Squad." They set themselves up as the true watchmen of "truth" in regard to the Obama campaign. The possibility of prosecution for spreading falsities about the Obama campaign has become a present day reality. They have become the standard bearers of truth regarding this campaign. Those who say things about the candidate are threatened with prosecution for libel if deemed that they spoke with the intent to promote falsehood. Their stated reason for this is that "They will be reminding voters that Barack Obama is a Christian who wants to cut taxes for anyone making less than $250,000 a year." Have we forgotten the lessons of the past century? Remember, when those dynamic deceptive despots ruled the other parts of the world. How many died at their hands. Millions? Hundreds of Millions? You can look back and see that the tactics were the same back then. Hitler had his Brownshirts (Sturmabteilung), his truth squad, that terrorized anyone who spoke anything about der Fuhrer in a bad light. Many were not seen after their revealings. Their warnings were squelched by the machine. Stalin. Mao, Castro, Pol Pot ... all had their "truth squads" to protect their legacies. In the end though, the world saw them for what they were. Agents of change, loose change.Now I am not saying that Obama should be put in the same category as these others I have spoken about, but it is interesting that we are now seeing this here in the "land of the free." We could be headed for an Obama Nation should this policy continue after the election is over. Maybe we are just be "Biden" our time as the hands move us closer toward the end of all things. The hands off approach to politics is usually a result that the candidate has bad or nonexistent policies to begin with. I am not saying that Obama is the right or wrong choice for this land. But I do understand the sovereignty of God in His order and timing of all things bright and not so beautiful. The Book still has to be fulfilled, and it still looks as though it will be in our lifetime. There are of course other alternatives, none of which really are a turn on. One could go with the "Son of Cain", yes that sounds like a good choice doesn't it? The other candidates, "Palin" the glory of the majors. She is kinda cute in a cutesy sort of way. Does she wear red? We know she rides... I digress.The framers of our Constitution framed it in with the Bill of Rights. One of these was the right of free speech. Free speech allows us to question and bring to light motives of the heart. We may not always like it, but one little match still sets to flight darkness even in the darkest cave. What I do find interesting, is that the left are the ones attempting to enlist these "truth squads." Yet they are the same ones that get belligerent when those on the other side speaks freely about our convictions. Aren't they reminiscent of the "thought police" that we had while in residence. One of our Teachers, kept reiterating that "Truth Needs No Defense!" Hey, I believe that's TRUE!I can here the Monday Night DFootball warmup with ol' Hank ................. Maybe it will take that 1000 years to clean up the mess left behind all the other governments. He is still looking for those who will rule and reign with Him in righteousness as the Government of the Father rests on His shoulders and we assist in setting it all straight.

I am armed to the hilt, cocked and loaded, keeping the "bug-out" bag at hand, prepared for martial-law, generators, fuel, food, water, seeds for planting, etc. Not for the sake of fear...but for the sake of being prepared...it may not be a biblical statement...but I like it nonetheless...Believe for the best, but prepare for the worse! I'm sure some would/could say that it is all fear based, cause you wouldn't prepare if you trusted God. Well, having medical, dental, and vision insurance makes sense. So does being prepared for the worse case scenario. Our constitution is at stake! Our forefathers never intended for the far-left liberal takeover of this nation, nor did they intend for the far-right ultra conservatives to take over this nation. However, things are-a-changing...and it ain't for the good. As long as in this country, homosexuality is given license/sanction, the murder of millions of babies is licensed/sanctioned, Marxism and Socialism are beginning to be put in place (ie...the "spreading the wealth" redistribution of wealth), out of control government programs and spending, and the Word of God being stripped from our schools and government, we are mesmerized by personality, eloquence of speech, charm, and it's ok to be a sexual predator and pedophile and be president of the US, and it's ok to be friends with terrorists (sure Jesus ate and loved the publicans and sinners, but his aim was to save them)...we cannot assume our country will remain mighty! I pray for our military, I pray for the office of the president of the US, as we are instructed......but I sure do not trust the politicians in Washington on both sides of the isle... the Word of God says:

Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.

Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.

Oh how I long for the day when there will be no democrats, republicans, or libertarians, no congressmen, no senators, no kings, no presidents, no rulers as we know them, but THE King, Jesus Christ, will reign, as King of Kings, and Lord of Lords!!! Come quickly Lord Jesus!

Steve, I hope I didn't like one of our founding fathers in throwing off the yoke of tyranny, or at least being prepare in any case, and George thanks for the reminder of what i truly believe. If the three could stand in the midst of the seven time hotter fire and not even get singed or smell of smoke then I know we could stand in the midst of a nuclear blast furnace and come through unscathed by the power of the Living God.

We do need to be prepared for whatever does come our way...i.e. "go to the ant..." My reference to the brass lead and powder is to assist in supplying the needs of my family. Squirrels and varmints beware! The gold and silver is to buy when not able. Talk radio didn't get me to these codes, being LEAD Staff helped, but the Lord has shown me what I need to do. Every situation is different.

I abhor the thoughts of censorship and/but maybe I am wrong, but I smell the potential for strife and contention to erupt on The Way Corps site over political premises, issues, and orientation.
Since it is possible and understood that one can be a Christian and at the same time confess conservatism, liberalism, or libertarianism, and any other relative "ism," would it not be a good idea to take these discussions to another website? God knows that I am not one that avoids confrontation and I like a good healthy fight now and then, but, I would hate to see the wonderful folks on this site become polarized over political or religious convictions. Political parties will come and go, rulers of nations will come and go, but there has only been / and will ever be one King...and that is King Jesus! No matter who sits as president, controls the Senate and Congress, whether socialism or capitalism reigns, whether we retain our sovereignty or are given over to the UN / one world government and economy, God and Jesus Christ never change...the same yesterday, today, and forever! God cared for Israel in the worst of conditions for 40 years in the wilderness, fed them...clothed them...sheltered them...covered them by fire and clouds. He fed Elijah by angels and by ravens. The promises of God are sure and absolute and God is not a man that He should lie.
Worst case scenario...Jesus Christ returns and gathers us!
Doesn't the Word of God exhort us to "pursue those things which make for peace"?

What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.

Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

I hear ya John. No matter who wins this election...the promises and nature of our heavenly Father and our Lord Jesus Christ will not change.....God fed Elijah by ravens and by angels. He provided manna and quail, etc. for the children of Israel while wandering for 40 years in a very very harsh environment...even their shoes didn't wear...how shall He not with Him (Jesus Christ) freely give us all things? No matter what God almighty will take care of His children who cry out to Him, abide in Him, and trust Him.

Been ready for years. Because of all the innocent blood soaking our rivers and land , i.e. babies, America is done. If Israel could not get away with it, neither will we. Count on it and prepare. Any political blessing we may get will only serve to give us more time or in the case of those that don't believe it, more rope. Get out of cities and away from them, can you spell hell on earth? Are you abandoning people ? Well thats up to you but what about your resposibilities to your family? In any case starvation is the cheapest way to kill whole populations , just contain them and watch'em wilt. God will supply , right? Maybe He's suppyling us with wisdom right now. In my area are lots of rank pagans, and they see the writing on the wall and boy, are they scared. So should we all be. Am I a fearmonger? Well I have 6 children and they have heard it all thier lives and they are not afraid because they are prepared and as normal a people as you will ever meet. Ask them if you wish.
