I got to work with George once at HQ on a groundskeeping crew. It was raining and we were taking cover in the barn but getting ready to work nonetheless. I was the typical twentysomething going on and on in my head about what the heck were we doing, etc. etc. etc. He walked right up to me and said real loud "You think too much." and walked away. It was one of those God moments, it cut through all the busyness in my brain and I went "yeah, he's right, I do..." To this day when my brain won't shut off, I remember him doing that and what a complete blessing it was and I stop and speak in tongues. He spoke the word to me, I love him for that. God stood behind this man, he was quite an amazing witness.
I got this from Bo Reahards old site. Obviously taken by Frank Cardullo. Not sure of the year. I think it was the 80's at the Corps Chalet aka Presidents Home.
I did not know George very well but got to work with him a few times while on staff. He seemed like a nice person and one who was very wise. Everybody liked him and Bernita.
