Howdy! I'm actually living in Boerne. Just a stones throw away. Fishing around for some Corps to fellowship with from time to time. The kids look great! I have two sons in their 20's. I still do the Bible stuff. Study, teach, and the rest. See profile.
hi robin,
i'm sorry that i did not answer immediately when you sent me a note so long ago. i did not know you by the new last name and i was not sure i could believe that you were all grown up. i guess i expect it of people my age but not the kids who were at hq and roa, etc. we had time together out in california also when your family was in the bay area and i was over in the central valley. my kids are about the same age as yours-18-25. i am teaching teenagers english now in high school. what a kick! i'm not sure where san marcos is but chris and i took a road trip that swung through dallas down through san antonio over to del rio up through san angelo, abilene, and out through wichita falls. i wanted to see my mother's hometown which is near abilene and i wanted to cross the rio grande and see the alamo too. it was great. anyway, i hope all is well with you. say hi to your dad. we worked together at the roa pretty closely a couple of years. he was always one of my favorites.

Hey Robin,
We had some good times over on the sunny side. We learned a lot about love and not quitting.
I am trying to appreciate what I have while I still have it. Time seems to move on so quickly and so relentlessly whether I am ready for it to or not. I am thankful God is a constant, always faithful, and has new mercies every day. Good to hear from you. Hope you and your family are well.
God bless you all,
Mimi F
Thanks for the nice talk we had on Sunday.
I just got a wonderful book of poems in the mail and so here is a beautiful verse that starts the poem.
You are my hiding place; you shall preserve me from trouble; you shall surround me with songs of deliverance.
Psalm 32:7
Great new picture,
matt
Hi Robin,
Thanks for the note. Some of my favorite memories of that time include the "kids" that were there too. I don't think that I was all that much older than you, and plenty of the grown ups treated me like a kid then anyway. This site is cool for reconnecting now, but I don't get to spend much time here. Email works a lot easier for me :)
I am glad that you are tight with your own children, my daughter and I are close too.
with love,
Bill
