I was browsing in the photo section and came across yours. Great pictures of you and your kids. When were you in Norway? We had a Norweigan exchange student for a year when Valerie was a senior. (Actually she was a junior but she graduated a year early.) We want to go visit Sara's family in Norway sometime. But it still looks like it might be a couple of years out. Is the above Gunheim sign in Norway? Seeing your face up close in some of the other pics really brought back memories of our womens fellowship in Novato and our trip across country to the Rock one year. Did I ask you if Chris Cool is still around Novato? I sure had a big crush on him on that trip. Then our cars got separated on the way home and he ended up with Janet for a while. Bummer. It takes a beauty to know one! My picture is fairly recent; my current 'do' is a bit shorter and curlier.

i just came to this site for the 1st time 2 nights ago....Kris and i are in CA now too, but about 40 minutes south of LA in SEAL BEACH....it has been sooo freakin' long....my sons are gown up too...27 and almost 24....older than i was when i entered the corps????

It was so nice to hear from you. What fun & sweet memories it brought to mind. Ken & I live in San Diego. We've been here since 1990. We love it here. Who ever thought this Texas girl would become a Southern California girl and love it! I returned to teaching after I got married and left HQ in 1985. I've taught reading at the elementary school level for the last 12 years and love it.
Ken continues to work in his field of civil engineering. God has and continues to bless us much. I'll try to set up a page with more info when time allows.

Yes I remember you, great to hear from you. I live in Cincinnati. I moved here after my daughters made me a grandmother within 3 months of each other. I have 2 grandsons and 2 granddaughters now and love being a grandmother.
