Tom and I were assigned to Victorville in the High Desert. We were there during our interim year (WOW) and assigned there after graduation. How long did you stay in Palm Springs?

You are never more than 10 minutes from coffee.
There is a very strong running community here. A great running store. My personal Physical therapist is a runner. There are three real big races every year. the Reeds Lake Run (10k) the Riverbank Run (1/2 Marathon) and the Grand Rapids Marathon.
I amongst a few other things am a Pedorthist so I build custom Orthotics for lots of runners and backpackers. It took me a long time to get used to it here but that was because there was no place to climb and the way stuck me here originally as a punishment. Now I love this city and can'y think of another city I would rather live in. Any specific questions you have let me know and I will answer them for you

I saw the fires on the news... it is awful. I trust you are ok. You must have a ton of ashes there. I visited California when the fires hit San Diego and another in Thousand Oaks.
When I 1st moved to SB, I lived in a Condo on I believe it was W. Carrillo St. I not positive that was the street but the condos overlooked the foothills and it was below a TV station. The TV station had a view of the whole city and foothills. You probably know where I am referring to. It is the best view in all of SB. I will scan some photos I took from that hill over 20 years ago... It was before all the big hotels were built along the main beach.
I do miss living there. It is breathtaking. After that place, we had another believer moved in and we moved to Goleta on Oleander St. It had more bedrooms.

I remmeber you and Vicki stopping through New Bremen on your way to Vicki's family in Michigan (I think).
It's hard to hear your kids ages and what they're up to. Of course Averil is married, living in Savannah. Zach just joined the Marines and is in boot camp.
Not surprised to hear you and Vicki are divorced. Tell me about your wife and life.
Not sure if you heard that Paul passed away.
Where is Vicki these days? It would be nice to touch base with her if she is doing well and in a positve place.....
I'm currently lving on the west side of Cleveland.
