"Hey John

My wife wants to know if you are still mad at her for shrinking your suit at the dry cleaners at Emporia. I still remember the days doing electrical work with you at Emporia. It is nice to see a picture of you and your wife.

  • Hi Vince,
    How have you been doing?
  • Deaqr Vince,

I just checked the site for the first time in months, and I saw your message to me from last fall. I don't know if I ever responded, but probably not! So good to know you are probably retired, so what are you doing? I still feel like I am 25 and cannot imagine ever retiring, and probably won't since I work in financial services and am self employed. I spend most of my time outside of work here on the farm, and am continueing to improve the property. My two girsl Laura (18) and Danielle (17) are both into horses, so I recently put in a big arena and a round pen to work the horses in. Mary is currently in San Diego visiting her daughter Sarah who is having a baby this September. So I will finally be a step grand dad!

I have only the greatest and fondest memories of you and your family Vince. Hopefully, will see each other again someday soon, as the old saying goes, here, there, or in the air.

All my love to you and your family.

    Your friend forever,

    Dan S.
  • Hi Vince,

Sorry for the late reply...I don't get on that often either. But, I am working hard on the 30th anniversary for the 6th Corps. I am not sure if Ann is planning on attending or not.

My e-mail is lifeadvisor7@yahoo.com, or if you prefer, danstockemer@allstate.com. I'm staying super busy, and am opening up a new Allstate office, as we were forced out last month by a fire from my old one.

Onward and upward! Love and blessings to you Vince...I can't believe you are old enough to be retired! Not sure I will ever get there!

    Dan
  • Hi Vince:
How ya been after all these year!
Hope you are well, and blessed.

  • Vince, good to hear u r doing so good. I'm just beginning to navigate this site. Just wanted to let u know I love u. So good to hear from all these blasts from the past.
  • Dear Vincent,

Sooooooo good to hear from you dear brother and old friend. To say it has been to long since I have seen you is an understatement. I can hardly believe all the time that has gone by. It's so good to know you are well and the family is well.

I was saddened to hear of the loss of your father, and had wanted to send a card. Forgive me for not getting one to you. I have great respect for him, and your entire family. I still count you as my brother, and will always.

I am very blessed, even though I havn't put much on this Corps site, I have a ton of stuff on the 6th Corps site. If you get over to Ann's, she can let you on so you can see photos of my lovely daughters. I am living here on the farm in Kansas where I was raised, and have been work as the life and investment specialist for Allstate here in Wichita since 1999. It has been a good time and place for me to be. My wife Mary is a stay at home Mom. I still have two girls in high school, so am very much the Dad.

Hopefully, I will get to see you someday soon Vincent. Havn't been to tuscon since that mid 90's trip to do the Plumbline. Perhaps we will get back to Arizona someday. I would love to see you again.

Please give my love to your Mother. I have sent messages to Ann on the 6th Corps site.

    Love always,

    Dan
  • So THAT'S where those hurricanes came from? I've lived in Florida since 1990 and that's the only year I dealt with hurricanes. I'm assuming that was Donna writing. I sent a message to you as well. I miss you!
  • Vince -- Are you still in charge of traffic lights? I'd like to complain about one. Seriously, it is great to hear you and Donna are doing well. I saw Ann's picture on here and asked about you and Donna and here you are. Gotta go leave a message on her spot as well.
  • Yo Vinnie!!!!! I was so thankful you were in my first fellowship in the corps.....with that cool hottie 9th corps twig leader.....ummmmmmm what was her name? And how about.....LEAD...lol!@!@#$%! I remember catching you when you fainted, after blowing into the camp a few tics till the deadline!. We had great talks while on Bless Patrol...lol I'm so glad to hear you are doing well. Please let Donna know that I was such a baby about that suit,of course I forgave her, all apart of the learning :O) God Bless you mightily ......John
  • Wait a minute - it was Vince Frisca (sp?) who was bald! You must think I'm nuts! (I think so too). NOW, I remember, tall, dark and handsome. Hmmm, I think Donna is coming into view -- come on guys -- help me out here!
