About Me
I live in a very rural area of southern Maine with my husband, Darren and our three children, Devin (20), Olivia (18), and Jacob (12).
My Interests
Cooking is a real passion. I love walking in the woods, horseback riding on quiet trails, playing with my dogs, and of course, My Children.
Music I Like
Simple Gifts (a Shaker hymn)
... 'Tis the gift to have friends and a true friend to be,
'Tis the gift to think of others not to only think of "me",
And when we hear what others really think and really feel,
Then we'll all live together with a love that is real.
Books I Like
I LOVE to read but these days I'm just too busy to sit down and do it.
Television I like
Not much, but I watch it anyway.
Sports Teams I like
I'm a big fan of The PBR ~ Git er Dun!

THE CHURCH BELLS WILL BE RINGING AGAIN TOMORROW UP IN MAINE 2011.
This is a little early I know, but my daughter is visiting with me from England, so I might not get a chance to say this tomorrow. HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHEILA!!! Believing you have the very best birthday ever, and may Hubby buy you lot's of expensive gifts. The very best to you on your special day. DB
Have a Very Happy Birthday!
I see that you like cooking, so I have sent you the recipe for a Lemon Coconut Syrup Cake.
It is soooooo delicious and I'd love to cook it for your birthday, but it might get squished in the mail!
Enjoy your day!
Your birthday, so a very BIG HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you Sheila. Hope you have a fantastic fun filled day. Are you getting together with Alison? If so please say hi to her for me.
Have a great day.
I keep meaning to write a comment to you and I am finally getting around to it. I think about you Allison and I sharing a closet in the quaint little room with 14 (or was it 16?) girls. Not the easiest of living situations but we all did pretty well and had fun. I lived in Maine for five years when my kids were little. I got my masters in Occupational Therapy at U. Maine Lewiston/ Auburn. My husband and I have considered retiring there. I figure I'll be abour 105 when I have paid off all the college loans etc. Anyway my husband and I actually went to college (undergrad) in Springvale. Our college has hit the dust but that is how we got together.
I work in a private pediatric practice and in the school system with kids in special ed. My daughter has a learning disability which is what steered me in that direction.
You look wonderful and your children are beautiful. Drop a comment if you get the chance

I feel like we didn't really get caught up...that's what I get for calling while driving and doing errands! Next time I'll call when I'm home and relaxing with a cup of coffee!
I smile thinking about the times spent together... I was just thinking about the RV campsite ... that was fun! I do look forward to seeing you all again!
