I trust your summer is going well and if your kids are only half as active as mine I am sure it is going by really really fast. I just thought I’d drop you a quick note to say hi and update you on what’s been happening here in Jersey.
The girls are very active in their summer camp and enjoying making new friends. They also just spent a week with their cousins from Indiana (Sue’s niece and nephew) so they had lots of fun going to the beach, fishing, and taking a trip to Ellis Island. Soccer practice for the new season has already started and both of them will be playing in the travel league this year. Sabrina will be in U11 Premier (top division) and Nadine will be playing in U13 National 5 (division 6). This is a big step for her because it is a newly formed team and also her first year playing at the travel level, so we are very excited for her and this new opportunity. I am also excited to have been asked to assistant coach Nadine’s team, so this will be a great new challenge for me and the girls on the team as well. ;^)
The job is going very well and I believe I am on the verge of coming out of the learning curve – finally. It also looks like the turnover of my staff has finally ended and the new team is really coming together now.
Anyway, that is a small look at the last few months up here. How have things been going with you and your business? How is Leah doing with gymnastics and how is Daniel’s slap shot coming along? I look forward to catching up with you all.

We had so much fun back then just letting the Word speak for itself! I have such fond memories of all of you back then. Ferris Bueller is still a staple around our house.
We moved to Colorado right after I got out of the Corps and haven't left yet. We lived in Colorado Springs for 15 years then moved up to Summit County about 5 years ago. The mountains have been good to us. I took up snowboarding about 10 years ago while running a youth fellowship and havn't stopped since. It's been a great door to move the Word and identify with young people. Still loving life and loving God!

After I left HQ I went to California for a while and then to Nebraska to take care of my elderly parents who have since died.
For work, I am the tourism information specialist for the Omaha Convention & Visitors Bureau ie, I get to tell people "where to go" - imagine that ...
I travel as much as I am able with unknown Caribbean beaches being my favorite places to explore
God-wise...I seek him dilligently with a humble heart and by his mercy and grace he has taught me more than I could have ever thought...I want is to be faithful to God to praise and bless him, his word and preaching gospel of Jesus Christ to the end

I recognized your pretty face and yes it was quite a year. My, oh may, that's 23 years ago! Wow does time fly by. Debbie and Ethan have come to mind many times and I wondered how they doing. Jim's sister may be coming down in May for a few days to watch the kids so we can go on a little cruise. They are very economical when you don't have to add in plane fare and a port is only 45 minutes away!
I miss you guys a lot. I particularly miss getting together for holidays and special events. I also miss sitting down with a glass of good scotch (not the cheap stuff) and sharing hearts. I also miss removing sutures your face-just kidding.
