  • Love you guys! I remember working with Bill on some construction project, was it The Way C of E? You came by to see him I guess, and he said "I'm gonna marry that girl!" He said it with a serious face. To me it was has though he had plans in his head and heart about you. He didn't need to smile, he was serious. My love to you both!
    in Him,
    Donaldo
  • Had to spend some time and look over your photos again Sally...Very beautiful....

  • Philippians 3;8
Yea doubtless, and I count all things [but] loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them [but] dung, that I may win Christ,
And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:
    That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.
Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.
Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but [this] one thing [I do], forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
  • Hey Sally.

I've been gardening too. More a matter of necessity than desire because our condo gardener retired and didn't bother to tell us. I thank God though because it has taught me like I never knew before that we plant and water and He gives the increase. It's also very relaxing and gives me time alone to talk to God.

I play my guitar once a year now by the campfire when I go camping with my two boys. They love it.

I suppose you might already have noticed that I'm doing a blog on this site called Tidbits of Truth where you can check out what I've been studying recently and for the last 2 decades.I call it like I see it and I'll gladly stand before God for it all, knowing I have allegiance to Him alone, I spend years studying things before I even consider sharing anything, and I do my best to communicate the simplicity of what I believe to my core. There is always so much more behind the words I write but I know I have to keep it short. I receive e-mail from friends I don't even know probably because they would rather not expose themselves like I have on the Way Corps site. That is an incredible commentary in itself. Thank God for the first amendmant and ole' VPW who taught me to think when I go to the Bible and to "not be held spellbound by the fleeting shadows of a few great names," even if his name is one of them.

I will stay in touch because you are God's best and are such a blessing to me.

    Gary
  • Hey Sally, To be honest, I haven't been on this sight since Thanksgiving time last year. I am fine. I've been studying some incredible stuff in the Bible about the antediluvian world and reading about the Dead Sea Scrolls lately. Being a father, husband, and working lots of overtime (18 weeks in the fall and winter)have tied my hands. Thanks for the amazing picture and for thinking of me. Did I ever tell you that its people like you who actually listened to me share about God and His word that helped me keep my sanity and encouraged me to carry on? You were a special gift from God to me. But you kow that! - Gary
  • Cool picture i try to do that sometime but it looks nothing like that
  • WOW what a bunny face that is...adorable!
I hope all is well with you and your beautiful family.
    Thanks for the bunny face.

  • Hi Sally,

Sounds like a whirlwind, jam-packed exciting trip to New York. I've always thought that if I ever get to Broadway, I'd like to see Phantom of the Opera too. Glad that you liked it! I enjoyed hearing about your trip. I haven't been to Spain. Germany, England, France, Scotland and Denmark. These days my trips are saved to go see my grandkids- they grow so fast and I miss them so much in between trips. I hope you have a wonderful time in Spain! Nice percs with Bill's job:) I'll enjoy your trips abroad vicariously!

Btw, your son looks a lot like Bill, as does your your youngest daughter. I think your oldest daughter looks more like you. I enjoyed your pictures!
