About Me

Still in love with God -- have 2 daughters, Joanna, almost 23, who graduated from Wilmington University in May 2008 and is now working in her field, Behavioral Science. Danielle, almost 21, just finished her junior year at the University of Delaware. She is a history major. Steve and I were married for almost 26 years and divorced in July 2002. I really miss our in-tact family. I work a lot of hours during the week (for a dentist) and try never to spend a weekend without friends, my daughters and church. I am very thankful and so excited to be with my Corps brothers and sisters on this site. No regrets!

My Interests

Reading, writing, gardening, dancing , talking, socializing -- traveling. I like being "in tune" spiritually, physically, and, hopefully, mentally! I love being home and I love being outdoors! The beach, the City (food, entertainment and shopping), the country, mountains, almost any body of water and walking in parks or the woods. My true love is interacting with people -- really connecting. I'm crazy about Life! "Lookin for adventure, in whatever comes my way!" - Born to be mild?

Too many to number -- the last one I saw at the movies was Tyler Perry's "Why Did I Get Married?" and the last one I saw on DVD was "The Apostle" and "Big Fish" - I liked them all!

Sports Teams I like

I don't play any sports, but I like to exercise. I like watching sports sometimes, especially baseball if I'm outside on a nice day at the stadium!

Hey Allison! Thank you for writing to me!!!! You look as cute as ever too, girl! Why were you in NYC? Do you go there often? I'd LOVE to visit with you! I know what you mean about the NJ Turnpike - the ENTIRE LENGTH OF IT! I have a niece and nephew in North Jersey that I try to visit occasionally because they are the only relatives I have left in the Northeast. But the trip - usually about 3 hours - is tedious to say the least. I'm going to read your bio and will write again soon. Virginia Beach sounds GREAT -- especially when winter is over!! Love, rita

Howdy Rita, Oh my Goodness you look great! I love the photos! The one of you and your girls is soo cute. I could not tell which one was you when I first glanced at it. You look as young as your daughters! Do spill . . . what are your secrets for looking so good.
Honestly, it is so fun to see all these profiles and see how everyone is currently doing.
I drove through Wilmington just last night on my way home from NYC. I have never been so glad to get off the Jersey Turnpike in my life. It took 4 and a 1/2 hours to get from Newark to Wilmington! Oh well. Next time I will drive on Monday (instead of a Sunday) after Thanksgiving. If you ever come down to Virginia Beach, look me up, it would be fun to get together. - Allison

I don't remember Liz, I'm sorry. Do you have a boy and a girl? Any pictures of Liz and them? I live a simple life, too, and I am also thankful for my family and friends. Thank you for the compliment. I feel great and look forward to whatever God has in store for me next. (It's pretty quiet around here these days!)

I don't know if you know my wife or not. Her maiden name was Liz (well, she's still Liz!) Zander. She is Donna's sister. We were married in the '83 Corps weddings and we have two wonderful kids, one in college and one in grad school. We live a very simple life, have good friends and good health. Couldn't be better! Sounds like you are well & you look great in your picture.

Dearest Rita,Is this the greastest thing since our last good rock! Thank you for the kind words,you made my day. I'm still married to Jim but now I call him Big Daddy,come to your own conclusions. We are at a hotel in Rochester,MN.for a family Thanksgiving,having a wonderful time,our son flies in tonight for a couple days and then back south. How are your nplans coming for Thurs?
