About Me
Still in love with God -- have 2 daughters, Joanna, almost 23, who graduated from Wilmington University in May 2008 and is now working in her field, Behavioral Science. Danielle, almost 21, just finished her junior year at the University of Delaware. She is a history major. Steve and I were married for almost 26 years and divorced in July 2002. I really miss our in-tact family. I work a lot of hours during the week (for a dentist) and try never to spend a weekend without friends, my daughters and church. I am very thankful and so excited to be with my Corps brothers and sisters on this site. No regrets!
My Interests
Reading, writing, gardening, dancing , talking, socializing -- traveling. I like being "in tune" spiritually, physically, and, hopefully, mentally! I love being home and I love being outdoors! The beach, the City (food, entertainment and shopping), the country, mountains, almost any body of water and walking in parks or the woods. My true love is interacting with people -- really connecting. I'm crazy about Life! "Lookin for adventure, in whatever comes my way!" - Born to be mild?
Employment or Career
Ofice Manager, Health Care
Music I Like
Praise and Worship; Rock n Roll
Books I Like
Christian stuff, biographies; history
Television I like
Dancing with the Stars and any comedies like Seinfeld or Everybody Loves Raymond

Too many to number -- the last one I saw at the movies was Tyler Perry's "Why Did I Get Married?" and the last one I saw on DVD was "The Apostle" and "Big Fish" - I liked them all!
Sports Teams I like
I don't play any sports, but I like to exercise. I like watching sports sometimes, especially baseball if I'm outside on a nice day at the stadium!

I mean you look like a teenager right now. Some people just don't seem to age at all (but you could be right, it might just be my eye sight - which, incidentally is a lot better since having cataract surgery about eight years ago - thank God for my bionic eyes, because I would be blind without them - I was legally blind for a time).
There are several ex-Way staffers that still live in this area, and we have fellowshipped together since the day we left. Most of us have had our kids grow up in the fellowship as well. We simply carried on with the Word, and left the junk out of it. It's been great.
I've also found the Word living and real in other places. I realize that many people will have a few areas that aren't fully accurate, but unless we're talking about devil worship, it's no reason not to love 'em and get along with 'em - especially in areas we agree (like Jesus Christ got up from the dead - duh). I learned a long time ago, it isn't always how much scripture you know, it's how much you believe. Funny, that distinction alone gets you right down to people's hearts in a hurry.
Glad to hear you are still enthusiastic about it and living it. So many folks (including a few on this site) seem to harbor a few ill feelings about the past. The way I look at it: I wouldn't have known the Word the way I do if I hadn't been a part of the Way. And why was it any surprise to anyone that people screwed up? Did they just forget to read their Bibles? A lot of people screwed up.
I was sorry to hear that you and Steve split up. I can't say that I was very close to you guys in the Corps, but personally (pardon me for saying this) I don't see how any guy could leave you, you were (are) one of the sweetest people I know.
Someday when we're trucking about the country, and I get out East, I'll make sure I pack the trunk full of beer - you aren't the only one who wants one (Schiano, Weeks, John Rue). I happen to be enjoying my own "Buckskin Pale Ale" at the moment - a clone of Sierra Necada Pale Ale (not that it would mean anything to you unless you are a beer snob).
So, let me get this right - you don't recognize Ellen in the picture either? I guess she wasn't there. Hell, maybe I ought to ask her - she would know, huh?
Great to hear from you; keep in touch. God Bless.
Dan
How are you doing?
