I am certainly open to dialog on this subject ,.."there will always be a remnant"...I see an undermining of Gods Word comming from within the church, Paul warned us in Romans about the doctrine that comes in along…"

"I have a more optimistic outlook about the "church". I think it is growing and changing dynamically in ways we never dreamed possible in the past.

For example, the power of the Internet has revolutionized outreach, even to obscure communist areas…"

  • Where's The Baron?
  • Hi you two,
You look great! It's a blessing to see your smiling faces. I don't get to this site very often but it's nice to have a place to see pics of old friends like you.
It made me smile to think about you.
    Love, Leon
  • "Ron,Chippewa Indian" was one of our 'one liners/private jokes' type of things. You and I and maybe some other people were out and about one night in Moorhead or maybe downtown Fargo; hanging out drinking beer or whatever and this guy who hadn't changed clothes or showered in a month or so came up to us. I think he may have been hitting us up for some money or something and the first words out of his mouth were,"RON, CHIPPEWA INDIAN". We cracked up because he said it with so much pride and boldness, and here he was, not having drawn a sober breath in a few decades or so, was scrounging up some change to get another bottle of Maddog. It became a running joke for awhile...please don't ask why I remember that.... Anyway, when I get time I'll make a serious remark or two. I emailed Robin, I got her address from her sister, no response, I wonder where Peggy is. I don't look too hard for people 'cause I figure maybe they don't want to be found....Anyway, God Bless, take care....

  • Don't worry, I won't be bugging you everyday with comments. I've been on my computer more in the last day or so than I have for the last few months total. But this Way Corps site is like a new toy that I can't quit playing with. I've 'talked' with some folks that I've been wondering about for 20 years or so. Anyway... It sounds like you're studying some pretty heavy stuff. For now, I've gone way back to the basics, I just read the Bible and strive to be honest about it. Honesty, is kind of the theme I'm on right now. Maybe integrity is a better word. Example; My 87 year old Mom has been faithful about going to her church for 70 years or so, has probably never really studied the Word, but she lives her life with a level of Christian integrity and honesty that most people will never obtain. I guess that's the kind of thing I'm talking about.... By the way, that first night in Owatonna when the 8 of us stayed in the motel room... you accused me of trying to 'queer' you in my sleep. I wasn't asleep, I thought that was Brenda's ass I was grabbing. Maybe some day I can make amends to her by playing 'Wipeout'.Ha-ha..........Take care Jeff
  • The roads were icy ,the other guy was on the gaurd rail cause he lost control...We had driven into North Dakota to buy a beer cause they did not sell beer on Sundays or it was to late...You Had a Big glass,I had the quart bottle ,after our trip across the median we did not want to get pulled over with the beer all over the car and all, any way thats how I remember it
  • Yeah, that didn't work out too good for us, did it? You'll have to admit, that was a pretty good save. We ended up going in in the opposite direction. I think I stayed within the lines, except when we were skidding across the median. It's an old variation of the Rockford technique.. What was really amazing, was that there was a cop who had a guy pulled over and he had to see the whole thing. That guy must have done something REALLY bad. I just got home from watching Dicky Betts. He's playing better than ever. Nothing against Duanne Allman, but I always thought Dicky was the better guitar player in the original Allman Bros. Of course Duanne totally reinvented electric slide guitar. Anyway..Good 'talking' with ya. I'll be in touch. Jeff..........
  • I think I drank too much watah... I've been looking for you, I found the Way Corps site today, I'll be in touch... Jeff Ludewig
  • Rick,

I do not know if you will remember me. I do you with great fondness and thankfulness. I hope you are well.

  • Hi Rick,

Thanks for the greeting! That cracks me up that she is not into computers. When I first met her she was a super secretary operating a word processor. Of course that was in the days when computers were a bit larger.

You have a great looking family. I am so happy that a great friend like Lori found someone that has taken such great care of her all of these years. It sounds like you have a great marriage and family!

God Bless you Rick and all of your family!

    Dick
