About Me
Born in Australia, grew up on the west coast of Canada. Over 40,000 miles of hitchhiking in my teens and 20s. Love to travel. Involved in The Way from 1984 to 2000. Married with two children, a boy and a girl. Got my Bachelor's in 2006, 26 years after I started. A classroom teacher for the past two years, will complete my certification for English 6-12 in March. Diana is now an RN working as a research coordinator for Johns Hopkins in the the field of pediatric cystic fibrosis. Her passion is to help people through alternative--natural,holistic--health care. To that end she is a certified EDS technician and has her own business dealing with EDS testing, detoxifying footbaths, and nutrition--including holistic supplements and remedies. Connor, at twenty, has been with the same girl for four years. He is attending St Pete College and will switch to USF soon. The goal is complete his Bachelor's in Political Science next summer, do officer training in the fall, and then enter the Air Force for a career in intelligence or JAG. He is almost constantly involved in theater productions. Juliana is 18 and skipped her senior year of high school to attend early college. She will graduate high school four credits short of her AA. Then it will be off to UNF, UF, or FSU for a degree in Biochemistry. After that, she is unsure. Jules and her boyfriend, Mat, have been together almost 2 years. We currently have nine dogs, three cats, 2 parrots and fish in our menagerie, but that is likely to grow the next time Diana hears of an animal needing a home.

Funny, I can watch most kid/family movies over and over but am usually one and done with others. Also find that a number of the better stories fly a little under the radar: "The Ultimate Gift," "Facing the Giants," "Peaceful Warrior," "Knights of the South Bronx," "Welcome to Paradise," you get the idea, lol. Also like shoot-em-up action/adventures and psychological thrillers.

USF Bulls (my alma mater), Florida Gators, Tampa Bay Lightning, Vancouver Canucks

WHMIS = Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System. The US equivalent is HazMat. This is the Fedral legislation that defines what information must be available to those who work with chemicals. Then, it's up to the provinces as to how they implement and enforce it.
For example, if you used a chemical to keep your water from freezing when cleaning windows, the law requires that you be trained in the safe use of that chemical and what the hazardss to you are from that chemical (thought the personal example would register with you).
Now, we are working on a short documentary (for half hour broadcast). I'll try and keep things up to date on this site, but it is a challenge at times.
Bless you.
What's your major?
I am thrilled at your successes (family, spiritually and business, etc.) and I rejoice with you. I also read your post above (Have a good laugh) and it is quietly eloquent. I'll have to send you an e-mail sometime so we can discuss some of my "theories" in life as well (I'm not always "othodox", as it were).
And I am very thankful to get to reconnect with you like this. I've thought of you often and had a picture you sent me years back that I kept at my desk - somehow I've lost it recently. Maybe I'll grab one from here and print it.
My love to Diana.
And how about responding to my friend request - it's only been a month. ;^)
