"Karl, I found your book a very worthwhile read. I loved it, it clarified many things. Many of my experiences were mirrored by your experiences. I found your depiction of life in the ministry to ring true with the ministry and leadership style I…"
"Thanks for the offensive video. At least it's better than Bob... another year and still no word from the old timer. I even bought his latest album - you'd think he'd send a note!"
"Kristen,
Thanks for writing the book. I got it from Amazon and read it last week. I couldn't put it down until it was finished. Thanks for mustering the courage to put your account into print - and for writing it so well. It's a deeply affecting…"
"As a teenager I used to strum on my old beaten-up acoustic guitar every day. I've taken up guitar again now - only electric this time, and much bluesier."
"Your "about me" section had me laughing 'till my eyes watered. Actually, I've read a few of your comments around the site and... I hope you don't mind but I'm arranging with some old friends to put your name forward as the next president of a…"
"Good to hear from Dinorah, and happy birthday. Yes, we're in Brisbane, Australia now. Do you ever fly out this way? If so we'd love to see you again. BTW, we can't get Costa Rican coffee beans out here! So I've been getting Brazilian beans. They're…"
"I agree that this site works best when we know who we're talking to. And with that real name policy, it's also important that the forums are only visible to logged in members."
"Nice work David! And thanks for posting it Terri. I haven't seen either of you since we used to sit together in the Indiana Campus dining room. I just saw Dave once again at an event in Dallas where we shared a beer (quite a few years ago now). I've…"
"what's the dif between Australian rules football and rugby?...
Well, in Aussie Rules, the physiotherapist comes on and punches an opposing player. In rugby, the fans punch each other."
Not sure... sounds familiar, but it's a bit fuzzy now... getting old, lol.. we probably have a lot of mutual aquaintences. I was in Birmingham 89/90 which was my last year in the Way, came to Oz in 99, we love it, but we should have chosen somewhere bloody warmer. :-) we are gonna move up north eventually when the kids go to uni. I do go to Birsbane at least once a year for a fellowship weekend, so it would be really nice to catch up with you and Sarah, plus your both welcome any time your down in Melbourne.
If it was your intention to make my eyes roll to the skies and chuckle-giggle - you succeeded! How long did it take you to find that sweet rendition? Did you set out deliberately to find it? - Get back to work you lazy bludger!
...or should I call you the "Closet Stirrer"?!
Dear Rhys,
There's lots of things about this video that I think you'll appreciate, such as: they're wearing all-black, they're Kiwis, they sing purr-dy well and they're singing 'bout your favourite animal and mine - the delightful furry feline.....
Let me know if it doesn't make you smile - just a teeny-weeny bit!

Hiya Rhys,
It is wonderful seeing your smiling face!
~ Kirsten
Thanks for your note, Rhys, and all my best to you.
Karl
