This time of year is always my favorite. Most of us will have more time with our families and time to relax and enjoy those we love most in our lives. After reading many profiles here, it seems the common thread in all of our lives is family.…

  • Hi Becki, boy it sure has been a long time since since I remember seeing you and other believers back at the farm as I used to call it in 73 and 74. A lot sure has passed since I got to talk to Donnie about the Lord back in 68. Well we will have eternity to get to know our Lords Love better and each other. Its looks sooner than ever, looking around at the situation in Isreal and advanced chip designs now. Love you, Jim Wahl
  • How wonderful to hear about your life and know that you are happy! So fortunate for those children to start young in life with your influence!
I think of you often and am quite thankful for the wonderful influence you have had on my life. I never read Psalm 27 without thinking of you.

    God Bless!

  • Hi Becki!

What a wonderful treat to see that I had a message from you.....We sure do have some stories. My daughter, Bess, was in the kitchen with me a minute ago, and he asked about you while I was reading your message..so I told her some stuff...Remember, Becki, when we would get so tired on Corps night or other nights, and we would lean on each other to keep our heads up? (or maybe you were just helping me keep my head up! ) I know you know I love you. It's so good to see you and hear your voice in my mind while reading the words you wrote.

Well, since it's Dec. 21, I'm going to go write some Christmas cards...I just hate to be too early sending them! I'm thinking about going Christmas shopping tomorrow! I will write again before long. I love you, Becki.

  • Hey Becki,
What a great picture of you. You are as beautiful as ever. I was going to say that you look just the same and then I realized the picture is from Columbia days...How funny. You are as radiant as ever.
I loved reading about what you are doing now. Those lucky little kids to get you as a teacher. You just being in a room is like a big hug, a breath of fresh air, a deep cleansing sigh. I always wanted to be just like you but I think I ended up more like a bull in a china closet.
Being with you in MO was the greatest year of my life because it set me up to get the most out of what was to come.
I also am not involved in ministry group. I am just trying to live what I know which is a lot.
If you click on my name you will see my photos...I don't look the same...baby fat...lol. Your boys are handsome and they are in a band. Good genes there. I am sure they can write some crazy tunes if they are anything like dear ole dad.
    I love you Becki.

  • Rebekah,
Thank you so much for your positive comments about New Orleans. I was in college when you were living here and didn't get into The Way until ‘79. Katrina practically destroyed everything I worked for and it’s been quite a long process to salvage what I had. It’ll take years for this place to fully recover; it's something you have to see in person to fully comprehend. But as I mentioned, it’s giving us a chance to make it a better place to live and work. It's easy to find fault with just about anything and you’re sure to offend someone if you voice your opinion, but it’s hard to offend anyone when your focus is only on the good. Thank you again! Tommy
  • Dear Becki,
You don't know me, but we met many moons again at ROA 1974. It was my first Rock and I had got sick. There was a healing serivce one evening and I went up to you and Donnie and you both ministered to me and my fever was gone immediately. Thank you for the wonderful memory of my first ROA and God working mightily in all of our lives. God bless you and your family!
    Love, Susie B.
  • Hey Becki,
You were always so sweet and wonderful - my first twig co-ordinator in the Corps. I am living in Stamford CT and right now it is freezing and Florida sounds good. I am a pediatric Occupational Therapist. I work in a private practice and I do some work in the school system. I love working with kids. They are so honest and full of life. So glad to see that all is well and you are happy.

  • Hi Becki, or do you go by Rebekah now?
It's surely been a very long time. I lived with you and Donnie in the trailer on my Interim year with Polly Moore, Barbara (now) Lundgren and a few others. Did Paul and Ruth Michol live there too? My memory of that time is fading.

    Good to see you here.

  • HI Becki - so good to see you on here. Welcome and I think you will enjoy this site very much. I have fond memories of my first year in residence with you as our "elder" Coprs.
