I am sorry, Of all the things I've lost it is my memory I miss the most.
yes, impossible for mules to have children much less grandchildren.
If it weren't for my genetic defect I was certain the government would insure I had no progeny.

Hi Nancy! How wonderful to hear from you! It's just amazing how all these emotions come up every time I'm contacted by someone on this site! I'm so thankful John started this up. So, 15 years of "service" after graduation, huh? I guess I was fortunate to be over & done by mid-1984. It was more like they were done with me, though, & I was tired of defending myself & seeking their approval. When I had my 1st son in '83 & was no longer asking, "how high?" every time they said "jump", I was no longer of any use. The audacity of my putting my infant son above the running of a class 2 hrs away for a few weeks was the equivalent of turning my back on "the Way Corps household & the ministry that had called me to God's front line", a sin that evidently fell somewhere between blasphemy & idol worship. Maybe it was the nursing hormones, but the whole thing became completely ludicrous, and I was through. I did always miss the brethren, though, & it is a joy to be back in touch. How's England & Chris (please send my love) & your children? Please post some photos when you can. And thanks for the compliment! I feel great & healthy & youthful & I stay in shape now- my 1st year in residence I gained over 20 pounds! And I also met some of the greatest people I've ever known. So welcome back to my life & please keep in touch!
