"Cathy, I hope you remember me, Michelle Hershey Poccia.
Very sad to read of Hector's death.
Praying for all who are missing his presence.
We will all be gathered together one day.
God bless you and yours,
Michelle xo"
"I am praying for your wife. And I am praying for you and your entire family. God bless all of you...in the name of Jesus Christ. In His love, Michelle"
"Praying for Dee Dee and for the McGrath and Spada family members. Truly devastating situation. Hoping comfort finds each of you as you deal with the aftermath. Prayer is what I can offer your families at this time. God bless all of your hearts."
"Dave, I wrote to Carol once and I think she had a hard time placing me...maybe you will remember...I see, Robin Newcomb mentioned me in a message to you...
It was Portland...1979-80...I lived with the Newcombs...had a twig with Gene Lundgren...hung…"
"Happy New Year to you and Bob! It is snowing right now! We have plenty of it! I always say "if it is going to be cold, it better snow!". I was in Philly at Marie's apartment during the big 24" storm! I went there to paint her apoartment for her…"
Well Thank You dear Michelle!! What a lovely note for my birthday ;-)!! Yes, I need to update my info...whooops. I get so lost in all my "social" groups on the internet...
How is Saratoga? Did you all get much snow? We got hit REAL good...17 inches to shovel through. It was beautiful...and it was back breaking!!! Then we got rain and it was all gone the day after Christmas.
Hope your holidays were wonderful...a very Happy New Year to you and yours from Bobby and I.

Michelle,
Great to hear back from you and get all your news. My mother actually lives is little Washington so I get to Greenville when I go to see her. I did see your pics of the Way Home--I think it looks awful--needs a remodel big time. So sad to see the way it looks but so many happy memories there. We actually lived there for 3 years aftet the Way Corps-Mike was the Limb Coor. after Jon Hendricks was moved to Florida. Our middle daughter Ruth was born there. Our children are awesome (as all parents say) and we feel so blessed. Laura, our oldest and her husband live in New Delhi India and teach at the American Embassy School there. She teaches high school math, and he teaches high school English. They live an awesome and exotic life (certainly compared to mine) travel alot and tell us interesting and funny stories about the sights and sounds of India. Mike and I and our youngest daughter Kathryn -a senior at UNC majoring in education, went to India last December--awesome trip, but what an overload of the senses with so many people! Then our middle daughter- Ruth and her husband live here in Charlotte, they are both bankers. Mike would be happy to hear your memory of his hair, as he doesn't have as much now.--not blond either :(-- I'll have to get some pictures posted soon--but because I'm computer stupid, I'll have to get one of my children to download them for me. Regarding my job, I love what I do unfortunately right now with the economy, I'm not doing as much as I'd like to be doing. But I agree, done right it looks terrific and I love it when the job is done and the homeowner is so happy with the results. Have a nice weekend--we're off to Wilmington for a couple of days of the BEACH-still our favorite place to be (on earth anyway). God is So Good, Ann
Sweet!!! would love to see you while you are here in WI!!!!! Where does your friend live? Fall is a beautiful time of the year, altho' we love each season here in the north country. Sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you... I don't go onto this site too often. Mostly go onto Facebook, but am so glad to be here now. I did find one of my friends, Donna, and we just got off the phone having our first visit in 25 yrs. It was like yesterday talking to her :-) She and her hubby may be visiting in Sept. Take care of those aches and pains!!!! Don't you know I have my bout w/ them also..... sucks don't it!!!!!!
Keep me posted on your travel plans. Also let me know thru FB cuz I'll probably see that first.
Love ya bunches!!!!!!!
Dear Michelle,
I am so sorry to be just now responding to your message of last year! Yes, Charlie was at St. Lawrence with Peppi Prass AND lived here in Dallas when Peppi did. We get his annual newsletter from Australia and enjoy it very much. I hope you are well. Love, Nina
Yep, I'll need the text. (grin) Thanks for saving it! Your memory is better than mine. I don't remember the Dubovsky's being there. If they were 4th Corps and it was their interim year, I was in rez then. Part of the 4th Corps stayed at HQ and were Branch coordinators for R1/F1 and the 5th Corps. I remember David and Donna being in G-ville though- overlapping memories???
Yes, I saw the picture of the back of the house! I can still picture the two yellow Limb station wagons parked there, as well as VPW's bus. I took the class in the BRC, too. My son, who was a baby and was dying was ministered to by Doug Emerson in that house and lived.
Hey Michelle...... I know it's been a very long time since I've been on this site but my computer went to my son and I lost track of this...... Anyway, good to see your beautiful face again :-)
