About Me
(last updated 12/19/2010) Got married to Jacquelyn Emmert (also 7th corps) in the corps weddings in 1979. We have one wonderful daughter, Alisha. She went to college at Ohio State studying dance where she also graduated, summa cum laude, I have to say (brag, brag). She married Walter who is in the Navy and they have 2 daughters now, Abigail (2 1/2 yrs old) and Elliana (2 months) They recently moved to Norfolk, VA where Walter is stationed.
I am single now (as of 2012)and live in Asheville, NC. I'm still doing music only it's mostly for commercial endeavors now, film scoring, tv commercials, and whatever interests me. You can always check my web site for the latest: at www.hagerling.com. Love to hear from any of you.

You are so gifted. I wanted to tell your about http://www.chapelvalley.org/Home/podcast.htm
Check out Tim Genin's teachings on Ephesians, which seem to impart the spirit of Christ, and not just teach ABOUT it. Let me know if you get the same.
I know you wouldn't say it if it weren't true.
Love, your brother in Christ,
Steve.
Ashville is a beautiful place -- especially at this time of the year. I grew up about 60 miles down the road in Morganton and Ashville was the big city.
Glad to be your friend here on the Way Corps site. Will let you know of any music being produced down here. I did have a recent recording session with a believer friend named Scott Williams so will send it to you when finished. I only did back up vocals but lots of fun.
God bless you.
John
Great to see you and hear about your life--THE LAST 30 years or so!! Still doing your music...you are so talented..and really taught me guitar. I did pass it on to my 4 sons...we are like the music department of a high school or college...every room there is something going on--piano in the livingroom, drumming in the basement, guitar in the family room and bedrooms....Guitar Hero on the Play Station video system where my 10-yr-old also has his amp and mini strat.
I couldn't get my picture up for my identity but managed to send a few to my web page--go to Leslie (Olson) Pavel and you will see a few. Will still get some of Chuck and the boys....the few I sent were from my computer. They are running friends after a race. The first one is of my "baby" Josh looking contemplative....yeah...we had our surprise baby after the 3 others were all in school! Now they are in college and Josh is in 5th grade! Keeps us young (but feeling old).
Your family is beautiful....if you get up this way I am only a few hours from Providence...you can stop for a visit as you go through CT!
luv ya--write again!
Leslie
p.s. Ever see Betty Clay in Asheville?
Happy Thanksgiving to you & Jackie- please give her my love- it's been ages! This site is such a blessing- every time I come on & check the Members page there are more names that make my little heart start fluttering!
Mark, so far I can't open your file on my computer. I need to get one of my kids to help me... :(
But it's great to know you're doing music; and hey- that's quite an impressive set-up. You look right at home! I've been doing music and/or voice-over commercial work since 1984 & I'm so thankful to have been able to have fun & make a living with it at the same time. Like they say, "do what you love & you'll always love what you do". I used to see the whole process as just like songwriting, only within 60 or 30 second compartments. If you get a chance, my voiceover demo is on my main page, (as well as a few songs I sang and/or wrote). You'd get a kick out of the absence of the NY accent- LOL! I recently completed an audio book written by Sir John Templeton on Prayer Around The World- that was something new for me & I really enjoyed it. Perhaps one of these days you may need a female voice... you never know! Keep taking good care of each other & stay in touch. Much love to you both!!! Sherry :) (By the way, your daughter is beautiful! Is she still dancing?)
