About Me

I have recently completed my masters degree in nursing and am a certified nurse mideife/womans health nurse practitioner. Randy and I are still married. We have six kids ranging in age from 25 to 15, and two grandchildren. The kids: Laura - 25, a paramedic, not working, oops she is a drummer in a band called The Sugar Daddies (they have a web site). Married to a firefighter, Danny Dunn. They have two children - Paige, 3 years old and Kai, 2 years old. Mark - 23, wants to go into music production/recording, likes rap. Scott - 21, in the Marine Corps. Has been to Iraq twice. Recently married to Samantha, a friend from high school. Andrew - 18, a Marine Corps reservist. Plans to apply for a job with the US Border Patrol after his Marine Corps unit deploys to Iraq. Victoria - 17, attending a therapeutic girls boarding school in Arizona. Doing great, growing and learning about life and herself. James - 15, a high school sophomore this fall. Loves to read. Wants to become a teacher. Randy is still with LA County Sheriffs department. Now a lieutennent. He teaches adult Bible study (almost) every Sunday at his parents church. I fellowship with John and Bettyann Tatnall in Ventura, CA

Lynn - Finally I get to apologize for sticking a rolled up piece of paper down your bassoon. It was a silly, boyish prank. Definitely, my bad.

Now that I have that out of the way – I think of you guys frequently. Six kids! That is great! Catherine and I often said if we knew how much fun they were we would have had a boat load more! I am sure that you are proud of your expanding family. Our son is getting married in just a few weeks. It will be quite a change for us. Looking forward to those grand kids.

Lynn, great to hear from you! I, also have thought about you guys over the years, especially when looking at my wedding pictures. WOW, 6 kids! I have nearly lost my mind with my two boys - (well, my oldest is the work of having two!! ) We are in a small condo like the one you lived in, in Pasadena - so that makes it more difficult. Lynn, Donald (my ex) and I were in LA as the area coordinators when you guys were in Pasadena (I think that is where you were). We came and stayed with you overnight and I think at that time you were pregnant with number 2. Randy took us out shooting and we had a ball . Now does that ring a a bell? Donald says hello by the way.

Thanks Lynn, it has been an adventure all these years serving in Grace Ministry Int. Just this morning I was e-mailing a pastor in our church in Kenya. He has been visiting other pastors that he supports. There is so much work to be done to share the god news around the world and even around our own homes!! Thanks for writing back.
