About Me
I'm married to Christopher Hallett, 15th and 30th Corps, for 22 years and we have 2 girls, Becca 20 and Lily 17. We went through the Corps training with #30 together as a family at Gunnison, 1999-2001 and our assignment was state coordinators for NH/VT/ME. We left that position and the ministry in 2005, but have stayed in Bow, New Hampshire--that makes eight years. We do not participate in any other church, ministry or group
We have two daughters and three cats. My younger daughter, Lily, is an avid rock climber and talented writer and artist. My elder daughter, Becca, is self-starting her modeling career in Boston and enjoying success. We're often in Boston ourselves and think it's a fantastic city.
For myself, I write poetry, fiction and creative nonfiction, as I have time and discipline, and participate in two writers' groups to stay active and connected.
My Interests
Writing and Reading
Gardening
Outdoor activites: walking, skiing, etc.
history, politics and animals
Employment or Career
I am self-employed as a freelance writer and insurance agent. Since coming to New Hampshire, I've also worked fulltime as a non-profit administrator for NH Public Radio and NH Writers' Project.
Music I Like
I like lots of music but could not name any of it -- mostly it's what my daughters put on. I just follow along.
Books I Like
I am a big reader. I love novels and creative nonfiction. I don't do so well with nonfiction that doesn't tell a story. Along those lines I really enjoyed Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert, The Soloist by Steve Lopez, and The Geography of Bliss by Eric Weiner. Too many more favorites to list.
Television I like
The Office is my favorite right now-- I recently watched every show in order through the first 5 seasons so I got the complete stroy line and sequence of events. Not in one day of course. Now I'm waiting for HULU to post all of season 6.
Movies I like
Too many. I was surprised to really like The Hangover. I also like Into the Wild, Little Miss Sunshine, I Robot, 16 Blocks, Lords of Dogtown.....Pulp Fiction is my all time favorite. I can watch comedies like 13 Going on 30, The Devil Wears Prada, Freaky Friday, or My Big Fat Greek Wedding over and over again, especially after a hard day.
Sports Teams I like
The Red Sox and The Patriots of course, though only because I live in New England not because I watch any games.

I am certain that it must have been when I was at Emporia. I am 13th corps. Thanks for the note. In answer to your snow comment, it is in the low 80's today. My husband and I went for a three mile mountain hike this morning. It is beautiful here. The only downside is the 115 degree summer days. On corps night they would read the weather for the onces who called in for the hook up. It would be snowing in Ohio and the Phoenix caller would invariably say that it was in the 90's or something like that.
Any way, I am certain that is why you look familiar. I don't recognize your husbands name eventhough I met many of the 15th since they were my younger corps.
Love and blessing,
Tracey
HI There! Yes it was me! AND I am happy you messaged me! Lots of water went under the bridge since those days but I am still alive and well, teaching and ministering the Word. Great hearing from you! Joseph Teo
BTW...it was a great article and I am still ministering healing and getting results...love to help people get deliverance.. Delete Comment
You look so familiar to me. Did you used to live in Arizona in the early 80's?
Bless you,

God's best always,

PS I do remember you now--as I said in my first email your face looks so familiar--I just couldn't put all my memory fragments together!
I worked for TCS Cable in Orlando for 7 years and then was hired by the company that owned alot of cable companies including mine and White Mountain, but my office was at the White Mountain Cable facility. I got hired in December but we requested to stay in Orlando while working for them until the kids got out of school in May. I would then fly up to NH a couple of times a month and work out of both offices until we moved. That was God all the way because the company got bought out in February and alot of us got let go as they already had our positions covered. We would have started new and enjoyed NH as my family is still up there, but man I love Florida so I'm glad it worked out in my favor. I now own part of a deodorizing franchise with believers (also ex-way) and work for myself. Sorry for the long explanation but that is how close we came to living in NH.

On our travles we're back on the east coast in SC visiting my brothers, Franklin and Foter Smith and my mother. It's always great to be home for awhile.
Please give your mother my very best. What is she up to these days? I think we had a pretty sweet fellowship in Atlanta--we were sad to leave all that but it was definitely time to head out for another adventure.
Best love always.
