We are looking forward to seeing you . We just don't know when yet. I am in the wedding cake business and people here in Dallas are starting to crank up with the old nuptials again. I don't want to let the idea of meeting up with you in Raleigh sometime get away from us. We have not forgotten. Love You! Nina Young
You are still the best!!

I love you. You are wonderful. It was SO good to see you after all these years. We will be back down once Catawba starts working on Mary M. I hope we can see you then so we can laugh alot more. We pray for you and the believers in NC daily. You can visit us too! have you ever been to Annapolis? Maybe in the spring.
God bless you.

Here is a quick "holla back at ya!" Thank you so much for your gracious comments. I meant to tell you how much your words ministered to me in the brief time that we talked at Robin's during Thanksgiving. Like apples of gold in pictures of silver, how refreshing were the few chosen fitly spoken words delivered from the heart of God. One of my favorite words is "lagniappe" [pronounced "lan-yiap"]--a word of French origin which means and unexpected treat or blessing, a delightful surprise or serendipity. I often use the word with my students and offer the explanation that heard from Justin Wilson, the Cajun comedian and chef, who defined the word this way: (You'll have to imagine my speaking with a heavy Cajun accent):
"You go to the baker and you buy one dozen cookie. When you come home, you count the cookie and you got thirteen cookie--13th cookie--that's lagniappe."
All I'm really trying to say is that our conversation was very special, and I appreciate the expression of your recollection of me from years ago.
Be blessed and continue to be a blessing,
Lonnell

After graduating from the Way Corps...I spent a year in Fairbank, Alaska. She was living at the North Pole-laughing.
I was good friends with her former husband Lee and worked with him. Janine was with us...in fact I lived with Tony and Janine.
Amazing how life is...and how the sixth degree of separation are.
Yes, you are always welcome in my part of the world...a lot has changed from the days gone by of those years that you spent here. Virginia Beach has been developed and last year was ranked as the top 10 beaches of the world...now NO...boohoo!.
But good place anyway.
Well, stay in touch and enjoy.
Nice to hear from you again...
